Small but great
Pros:

The staff was great and welcoming

Cons:

I thought there would be a continental breakfast. Maybe there could be a shelf for toiletries that a guest might have forgotten to pack. Bottles Distilled water, toothpaste, etc.

Its good. So homey. And the pricate parking lot.
Pros:

The aesthetics and the backyard type to hangout . The 24/7 coffee and drinks . Most of the time its cold.
The bar and lots of resto around but they all close early. The room design. The shower, water pressure is so strong. They clean rooms.

Cons:

The pillows, so uncomfortable. The towels , so small. Like kids towels. And no breakfast.

It’s a very nice property with modern architecture, features, and design.

Cons:

I had to wait 22 minutes after 3:00pm because my room wasn’t ready. When I asked if I would be receiving compensation for the delay the clerk offered me a bottle of water as if was really going to make a difference. I told him that’s not enough he and he said he would have to get the manager involved so I told him that I okay with talking to him but he never did. The most disappointing part of the stay is the very worn out mattress, sagging in the middle lumpy I didn’t sleep well at all. One more thing they made our bed with a sheet that is so old and worn out that it has little balls of fabric throughout it. You tell me how many years does that take to get a fitted sheet that way? My guess is 10+ years.

Nice hotel on the whole and probably one of the nicer stays in Torrance.
Pros:

The public areas were attractive, and the staff were helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. Breakfast was extra and seemed to be mainly from a cart so we had breakfast elsewhere. I liked a lot that the parking and hotel was enclosed with a gate. Made it feel much more secure. The hotel has clearly been modernized and there were some nice touches like the curved shower doors.

Cons:

As much as they put a lot of effort into modernizing the hotel, its bones are still a motel. I don't like how the window opened up to the outside walkway which means you have no privacy if you have the drapes opened. They don't make the room up each day unless you request it which means it is easy to run out of toilet paper or coffee. They happily bring you more upon request, but it is less convenient. I totally get that you might not want new towels and sheets everyday to save on water resources, but making the bed and resupplying the room would be better as the default option.

I would come back once I figure out my coffee situation.
Pros:

I have stayed here many, many times in the last 3 yrs. The staff are always pleasant and accommodating. The location is perfect for my needs. Staff is always seen sweeping or cleaning or repairing the property in some way.

Cons:

My first room had a few ants. Never happened before but I was instantly provided a new room. Not that big of a deal. On this trip I was disappointed to see the changes in the lobby. I didn't want to wake up my family by using the coffee maker in the room and a free cup of so-so coffee isn't asking for so much but now we have to pay $3.50 for a small cup? The food is overpriced also, for what is being offered. I chose not to use this amenity.

nice hotel but expected more luxury compared to it’s online rating

Cons:

Front desk staff not to helpful, not to friendly, unhappy with their room selection and had to ask to change room due to poor location.
