The room smelled really bad, and the sheets were old and full of cigarette burns although the room was supposed to be nonsmoking. People had clearly been smoking there.
We decided to put up with the overall situation because we arrived at 12:30 am after driving all day and were very tired. They were also almost sold out.
I decided to let my son sleep and the room, and I decided to stay in my truck since I didn’t want to unpack the truck and was rather suspicious of the activity on the property and surrounding area.
Turns out that someone tried to get in my truck in the parking lot while I was in the truck. The property management denies this happened when I told them about it.
A few other untenable things happened that led to our decision to leave around 4am. When I conveyed my concerns to the manager on the phone this morning, he argued with me and basically told me that none of this happened because they didn’t see it on their video cameras, and that my concern for the room condition was accepted when we stayed in the room for a few hours. I have requested a refund from two different people and was told that Thrg would not do so.
I would not recommend this property under any conditions.
Things would have been better had I stayed at a better hotel.
It is at least 20$ expensive for this level of hotel
