Bed uncomfy but nice and cool at least.
Pros:

Good central location. It had air conditioning which worked well in terrible heatwave. Breakfast was good for the price.

Cons:

Bed very uncomfortable, you could feel the springs. And corridors littered with plates, cutlery from the night before. Sink plug got stuck, they couldn’t fix it until the next day. I went for this hotel as thought it would be better than the local chains and was only a bit more expensive but maybe should have stuck to what you know.

Pros:

Lovely room with a huge bed. Bathroom was nice, shower was a little dated. The staff were friendly.

The pillows were awful, hard and flat, like youth hostel pillows.

Lovely hotel
Pros:

Central property . Staff friendly .
Problem either our initial room but switched with no fuss. Lively breakfast

Cons:

Bar very expensive despite staying at the hotel -should be some sort of discount . Bar had no ambience as few people drinking in there, probably because of cost

Overall standard didn’t match price charged
Pros:

Excellent staff

Cons:

One lift wasn’t working, the other so slow and often being used by staff for moving linen round hotel. Took ages to use. Although Indian food good, bar and eating area like a pub in decor and feel.cooked breakfast poor. Very noisy room as the air conditioning units were outside the window.

Excellent hotel in an excellent location with excellent staff
Pros:

Hotel was in a great position for what we wanted. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and comfortable. Would certainly stay here again
