Great stay marred by extra charges.
Pros:

Central location.

Cons:

The £5 charge to leave your luggage after check out. If I’ve paid £90+ for a room I don’t expect to have to pay for 2 bags to be stored in as room for a few hours, especially as there was no charge when we left them before we were able to check in.

Pros:

The hotel was in a good location for the city

Cons:

Absolute nightmare to find by sat nav…the directions took us to a barrier that we cld not access then had to ring the hotel for help but even those directions were not clear..the ‘compact’ double room was more suitable for one person as the bed was very small we only had 1 hand towel and 1 bath towel for two of us

Cons:

The breakfast like any mass produced breakfast lacked an individual touch. I like well done bacon, but it was cooked for a wider audience.

Pros:

Great location and the room was a good size.

Cons:

Had to request towels
No working shower with hot water so unable to use this facility during our stay
Paid extra for a breakfast each and the cooked breakfast was very poor and luke warm. Several other customers also complained about this.

Great location, staff helpful but would avoid “ compact” rooms
Pros:

Staff were helpful and the bar good. Ate evening meal in the restaurant- mainly curries but were tasty. Location is good- we were going to a concert-central for seeing the city. The room we ended up with was good. Usefully has parking adjacent to hotel

Cons:

Booked a compact double as seemed a good price- was tiny, cold and the bed was more like a 3/4 bed. I told reception that I felt the pictures and description did not make it clear just how “ compact” it was! We went into town and to be fair, on return were offered another room- upgrade

Stayed for the location for the hippodrome.
Pros:

Very quiet. Perfect location for the Hippodrome. Having its own car park was a bonus

Cons:

Bit dark in the room so main light would make the room brighter

Lovely hotel
Pros:

Clean and well situated in Bristol. Plenty of car parks nearby.

Cons:

Lighting wasn't very good in the room even with all the lights on room as still dark.
