Airconditioned room was cool and clean, staff were friendly, a great location near St Nick's market. Recommended.
Great location, room was clean, and had parking next to hotel. Good value for money.
Would have been good to have had refreshments available in reception, even if it was just a vending machine.
Great location, easy check-in, clean, comfortable room
One of two lifts out of order, no bottled water in room
Clean and centrally located
Noisy work going on and only one lift working
The double was two singles put together
Central location. Friendly staff and all clean and tidy.
Cleanliness
The location
Only one lift working.
Light although working shade were Brocken.
Although the rm was decorations in dark colors, once the light were on you could see the dirt/dust around the skirting and where drinks had been splashed down the walls in some areas. The lack of a fridge where you could stare milk or meds would had been useful.
Sehr zentrale Lage in Gehdistanz zur Altstadt, dem St. Nicholas Market, Restaurants und Shopping, ausserdem Parking Möglichkeit
Unser Raum war dunkel, mit nur einem kleinen Fenster
Room 412 just awful. Like a tiny cell with a small window high up, shabby carpet with marks and holes, shower curtain hanging off. Mirror tatty looking. Two wooden fire doors on two sides of room outside meant it was noisy into the early.
Managed to get another room for the second night which was just about ok but the whole place feels tired and neglected.
Looking at the other reviews here, it seems like everyone had a poor experience but I can't fault my stay. Room 215 had aircon, good pressure shower, comfortable bed and was clean for my visit. It wasn't glamorous or anything but was completely cosy for my 2 night stay. The bar was also nice and had zero issues with reception. All in all, for what was paid, location and service I'd rate my stay 5 stars.
Location and parking
Food at restaurant was good as well which is a bonus
Nothing - perfect for our needs
Very tired and dated not easy to get to but once there position is great and has parking
Tired only one lift working
Avoid this hotel, it is utterly filthy and possibly the worst hotel I have ever stayed in amd I travel often .The window and entrance give clues to what you can expect , fifty and need restoring. The rooms have not been cleaned to any reasonable standard mould in bathrooms mirrors decapitated, windows filty. Mould around the bathroom. Carpets heavily stained ans worn , bed as cheap as they come, you can feel the springs !!! These rol.s have nit been redecorated for many years, stains up the walls marks etc. Our door had a peep hole, it had been removed so we had ro block it up with tissue paper. Too much filth to list , we did nt even wamt to use the shower and it waa only 5ft above the bath so you had to bend ovee to get your hair wet !!. Pathetic to even think this is acceptable. No windows in out room to see through it was like a prison cell , bed up against one wall as so small. PLEASE DO NOT stay here , they should be sued under the trades description act as it is anything but Grand, we spoke to several other peiple who had just checked in , most were utterly speechless, its like a third world standard hotel . Only stay here if you are homeless , and at that keep your clothes on in the room !
The location was ideal
Having to pay £19 for parking, one of the lifts was out of order. After arriving at our room on the 3rd floor we realised that the key didn't work so I had to walk back downstairs ( a coach full of tourists were using the only lift ) we were allocated a different on the 4th floor which again had to walk up the stairs. On entering the room we thought we were in a broom cupboard it was that small. The bath had lots of chips out of it and the grout on tiles was quite mouldy/dirty. The bar closed at 2230 with no option for residents to purchase a drink.
Outlook from room dreadful awaken by engineers working on roof outside.
Wash hand basin in bathroom painted with gloss paint to hide crack in sink.
Very central and had secure parking
The rooms. were smaller than I was expecting. It was quite noisy outside even early hours, although England had just won against Norway. The bed was not very comfortable and the air conditioning was very noisy.
