Intensive 5 Tage in Venedig, die bei weitem nicht ausgereicht haben, so dass wir unbedingt wieder kommen müssen.
Pros:

Sehr freundliches Personal, tolle Lage! Wir konnten alles von dort aus zu Fuss erreichen.
Zimmerservice war super. Zweimal am Tag das Zimmer gerichtet.

Cons:

Es wird vom Hotel eine Fahrt nach Murano angeboten - kostenlos! Man sieht aber nur 10 min. die eine Glasfabrik und wird dann in den Verkaufsraum geführt. Der Druck etwas zu völlig überhöhten Preisen zu kaufen ist da. Wollten wir aber nicht. Und wurden schnell über das EG in die Schmuck und Mitbringselabteilung geleitet und dann wieder auf den Bootssteg.

Wir waren einen Tag später nochmal auf der Insel und haben uns wirklich Murano angesehen und waren in einer anderen Glasfabrik. Hier hat sich unsere Vermutung bestätigt. Ganz andere Preise. Vor allem hat man mal Preise gesehen.

Erstaunlich war auch, wieviel der Verkäufer von uns wusste.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would visit again...with ear plugs!
Pros:

The backside of the hotel is on St. Marks square. The frontside of the hotel (entrance) is not on the square but is within a few hundred feet of an ally way that leads to the square. The square provides access to St. Marks Basilica, Doge's Palace, and the bell tower. The hotel is old world glamor and has a very warm, cozy feel, and rich feel. The rooms were ornate with chandelier light fixtures and furnishings that were fitting of Venice. Daily breakfast was very good (purchased with room reservation). The staff were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. It's a 5-to-10-minute walk to the upscale shopping area, restaurants, cafe's, etc.

Cons:

Because the hotel is on the square, it is in a noisy location. At night, there are cafes and shops open late in the ally at the front of the hotel, and in the square behind the hotel there are tourists in the square. I needed to use ear plugs to get to sleep. Additionally, I reserved a queen or double bed and was given a room with two twin beds pushed together. While the beds were overall quite comfortable, if I wanted to stretch out in the bed I had to deal with a crack between the two mattresses/beds. If the hotel does not have queen beds, they should not provide it as a room option.

emplacement de rêve ...
fenêtres de la chambre, et de la salle de bain 🙃 et de la salle de pdj avec vue sur la Basilica du San Marco... et le charme désuet des établissements qui ont la patine du temps vénitien. Chambre confortable avec simple mini bar, rangement, confortable literie et grande salle de bain.

Cons:

ras, sauf peut être deux volées de marches pour accéder à la réception pour les personnes en difficulté... après il y a des ascenseurs.

Beste Lage, freundliches Personal. Zimmer hatte kleine Mängeln
Pros:

Beste Lage an San Marco, sehr freundliches Personal, gutes Frühstück.

Cons:

Es war korrekt beschrieben, dass die oberen Stockwerke mit dem Aufzug zu erreichen sind. Ich habe aber nicht erwartet, dass wir eine Treppe mit 17 Stufen ohne Handläufe zu bewältigen haben. Da mein Mann gehbehindert ist, war das ziemlich riskant. Das Hotel würde ich aus dem Grund nicht mehr wählen.
Die Klimaanlage war nur als Heizung zu bedienen,Lüftung nur über Fenster möglich. Unterhalb des Zimmers waren Restaurants, also roch es bereits morgens nach Fritieröl.

Magnifique séjour facilité par les concirges de jour de l'hôtel
Pros:

Le personnel de jour est extrêmement poli, gentil, respectueux, aimable et aidant. Ils se plieront en 4 pour vous aider.
Tout est très propre et chaleureux. Hôtel calme.
Le petit-déjeuner est gargantuesque : pains, céréales, oeufs brouillés, bacon, croissants, pâtisseries, fruits, yahourts, etc, etc, etc !
à 50 mètres de la place San Marco.
Ponton pour taxi privé à moins de 100 mètres.

Cons:

Le personnel de nuit est à améliorer ... commencer par répondre au "bouanasera" serait un premier pas.
