Great overnight stop when transiting through Houston. Three weary travellers enjoyed a basic dinner at the hotel restaurant and the return airport shuttle was super convenient. Our shuttle driver, Jimmy Johnson, was a legend and enhanced our experience which included great service from the whole hotel and restaurant team.
I stay here pretty often and always have a good experience. It’s a business hotel, the rooms maybe need a bit of a refresh but it’s nice and quiet when you need a good night’s rest. Staff is great! Jimmy (hotel shuttle driver) is kind and professional.
The rooms needs a renovation. There was also a bad smell in the room, but are clean. Otherwise the staff is great and I Love the pool area with trees.

I have to give a big shout out to all the staff at Double tree for their hospitality and great accommodations during a busy FIFA week. I had booked another hotel, but upon arrival there were no rooms available. I was sent to another hotel that was horrible. Reached out to Expedia who contacted Double Tree and found me a room. They even sent a shuttle to pick me up. I will be forever grateful to the staff. Andrew was amazing!! Thank you for everything. I will definitely be back.
