Hotel Maya Excelsior

This property is not worth booking. Expedia states that you can pay online to reserve it. Once you get to the Hotel (if you can call it that), the staff tells you that they do not take payments from Expedia and that you MUST pay in cash. It is an inconvenience. Staff DID NOT know what to do. They are liers and very UNFRIENDLY, I would not recommend ever.

Very central near the Cathedral and the palace wouldn’t chance using the pool overall outdated and unclean wouldn’t recommend.

It looked like a horror movie stage. Sorry to say this but this was the most scary hotel I have ever stayed

De entrada el personal es arrogante, habían cucharachas en el escritorio de recepción y en las habitaciónes, para el precio esta demasiado. Demasiado caro para las instalaciones y servicio que se brindó. Definitivamente si tienen oportunidad de quedarse en este lugar, no lo hagan. Mal recomendados

Es un hotel que brinda condiciones regulares de Hospedaje, para mi regular.

El cuarto inundado de cucarachas . El elevador no funciona .

I booked this hotel due an emergency. This is an scam, pictures are misleading and is expensive for what they offered. No hot water, dirty towels, a bathroom with roaches and an uncomfortable bed. At the reception they were unfriendly and doubtful about the booking.

Too simple for the price, TV has only several programas, very noisy early in the morning and the whole Day, Swimmingpool was close, terrible bed, i got hurt my back. Bathroom quite ok with space and warm water

I will not recommend us please. This is because the rooms are not clean when I still there for one night it sound like it was working but they were building something 3 o’clock in the morning I couldn’t sleep at all and I had to be up by 6 o’clock to go to work so when I recommended the room for the staff were horrible.

I don’t recommend this Hotel to anyone!

La imágenes que se muestran en la aplicación no coinciden con la realidad. El precio que se paga está demasiado alto a lo que otorgan, es un hotel antiguo con poco mantenimiento.

The hotel is not new. But the room is clean and the staff is nice. Easy check in and out. No air conditioning but have warm water and big room.

The property is pretty rundown. The pools are not clean. The room I was first offered smelt like dusk and properly had not been cleaned in a while. The next room I was offered I saw what looked to be a bed bug sheddings. I left and went to another location I need a refund.

The property was centrally located in historic downtown Guatemala City. The shower was clogged and I had to ask for a plunger to unclog it /-: No room service and the staff were whatever

The staff was polite. Gave us a quick tour around the vicinity.
