okie-dokie, but could use a refresh
Pros:

Friendly people, the best option when staying in Steinbach; however, rooms are in need of a renovation in the older section of the building. Walls have unpainted drywall plaster on them, furniture is looking a bit run down, and things look a bit tired. Overall, it's a relatively decent place if you have to stay for the night.

Theme Room
Pros:

Our family stayed in the theme room - so fun for the kids! Loved the free breakfast and pool area as well. Upgrades look great.

Greatly disappointed w unprofessional staff.
Pros:

Clean, friendly staff check in, comfortable beds

Cons:

Snow removal at 6am - for 30minutes outside our bedroom window on mainfloor. Woke up the dog and child. Called front desk 15mn into beeping and scraping of skidsteer and was laughed at and unapologetic.
Ruined sleep everyone left exhausted And tired and frustrated w staff - no one cared and staff didn't feel they should be accountable at all for incident. It's their schedule snow removal and didn't feel they should have to inform guests. Rude.
Also the pool was freezing. Asked staff she claimed it was 74 degrees.

Location, cleanliness of the room.

Cons:

Hot tub was not hot. It wasn’t even warm. That was really disappointing after coming in from -40 weather. The pool room was cool as well. Everything else was fine.

Days Inn Steinbach: always a great option, no regrets
Pros:

It's the third or fourth time we have chosen this hotel for staying in Steinbach, MB, with family, and it is always an excellent choice. Breakfast has always been great, but it has been upgraded with a waffle machine, and it was really nice. Staff is always so gentle and attentive. Very well cleaned rooms. Highly recommended.
