Location was good.
there was mold all on the walls of the shower and shower head also had mold on it.. gross
to pay for parking
The shower did not work, only cold water it was horrible.
Nothing
I did not like the hotel facilities nor the room. The hotel is dated. It looks dirty. The chair desk was so worn out, scratched, looks like you took it from the dumpster, disgusting . The TV remote never worked, I notified front desk however no one came to check it, most likely needed new batteries. Worn out carpets. Difficult to control the A/C. The front desk staff seemed bored, not motivated, however they were polite.
I just stayed at this double tree this past weekend.
They nickel and dime you. They charge $15 for parking where birds crap on your car. I ordered breakfast and there was a $5 charge for beverage which was 1 cup of coffee. There was no hot water the entire weekend. I had to take cold showers. When I told the front desk all they said was, “we know”.
KenJay was an outstanding example of what customer should represent. He is personable, professional, and goes out of his way to make a guest feel home away from home. He made my stay a joyful experience.
Kenjay is hands down the winner.. his smile is contagious!
Had a good stay here. Ja’Kwan K. was great helping me at check-in.
The hotel is very nice, but we especially loved our servers who served us every morning for breakfast. Specifically Priscilla..
Priscilla and Greg have been nothing but wonderful!!
Convenient location , very nice staff (Corey was great at check in) and confortable room, nice gym with a couple of Peloton bikes and pool with spa. We enjoyed our stay. However, a couple of things to improve elevators, only one of the four was working. Housekeeping, we found someone else’s clothes in one drawer and once we found our own sock in the bed after it was made!
Howard and front desk manager Corey were amazing! So helpful
I booked this property based on online photos, location, and the Hilton name. Online positive reviews also influenced the decision. Huge disappointment. While checking in I was told that parking would be an additional $15 per day. So now im being nickel and dimed for parking at the $200+ a night hotel I booked. I was immediatley told that I could avoid the parkign fee if I agrred to leave a review for the hotel. The desk clerk prceeeded to locate and fill out the review for me and then handed me back my phone. Now I know why all those reviews looked so positive! The lobby and ammenities looked nice and modern. The room however was stained and out dated. Carpets were badly stained in several places, the only two chairs in the room were both badly stained and thread bare. The sheets and bed were clean. Overall, this reminded me of staying at a roadside motel in a remote area more than Hilton property in a tourism area of Florida's East Coast.
I would like to recognize Ja’Kwan Kales at the DoubleTree Hotel Deerfield for providing exceptional customer service during a very stressful situation. We had prepaid for our room through a third-party booking service, and upon arrival, there was an issue with our reservation that could not be resolved, even after spending over an hour on the phone with the booking company.
Ja’Kwan stepped in with professionalism, patience, and genuine care. He took the time to thoroughly understand the situation and worked diligently to find a solution when others could not. His willingness to go above and beyond made all the difference in turning a frustrating experience into a positive one.
Thanks to Ja’Kwan’s efforts, we were able to get everything sorted out, and his dedication did not go unnoticed. He truly represents outstanding customer service and is a valuable asset to the DoubleTree team.
We are very grateful for his help and hope he receives the recognition he deserves.
As for the room, some of the furniture was worn out and and the carpet was stained. Our room is in a need of an update to meet Hilton stabdards
Yvonne was amazing! Thank you for your service in the dining room!
We had a quick efficient and friendly front desk staff for easy check in. Thanks Cory you were awesome!
