Hilton hits a home run
Pros:

Very enjoyable stay. The room decor was attractive and comfortable. Special shout out to Maja for linking our rewards number with our reservation and getting us a few perks including breakfast. Buffet was good and staff was very friendly and accommodating. We travel to Melbourne a few times of year and have stayed at numerous hotels. If you don’t need to be on the beach this is an excellent choice.

If you have thin hair, don’t wear makeup or need to shave, and can bring your own pillow, this is the perfect place!
Pros:

The hotel is beautiful, the staff very welcoming and friendly. Location directly on the beach and our room had a fantastic ocean view with balcony. Unfortunately, I won’t stay here again for a few reasons: 1) I have very thick hair, and the water pressure in shower is pitifully low. (Imagine a heavy rain drizzle.) Couldn’t rinse all the shampoo out of my hair despite rinsing for ten minutes. 2) Lighting in bathroom very poor. I had to apply makeup with a compact mirror by the sliding glass door. My husband said light was too low for shaving. 3) Pillows. They are filled with feathers and decompress to flat where your head lays.
If you have very thin hair, don’t wear makeup or need to shave, and can bring your own pillow, this is the perfect place to stay!
