Room was nice and clean. Staff was helpful. Loved the pool.
I was there on a Sunday, so no bar/restaurant/or Monday morning breakfast restaurant.
We didn’t
The cable was not working, coffee cups were dirty so was the bed. Don’t know what happened the last time was great.
Location and cleanliness
Our TV was out the entire stay. When I called the front desk the first time I was told it was because of “cloud cover” with a very snippy attitude. Turns out it was a bigger issue and the entire hotel was affected.
Location was good, we did not eat breakfast there.
The bathroom was nice, but it had a low toilet and the shower was hard to adjust the hot water.
The staff was amazing. Good location and good gym.
Rooms could be upgraded a little bit.
Max was especially fabulous in the café 🍉. The staff in the cafe was so friendly, food was delicious. Upon checking in the staff was warm and hospitable. Great service, clean rooms, amazing atmosphere!
I love the location of Hotel Encanto in Las Cruces, it was a great experience, the atmosphere was amazing! Rooms beautiful, I want to give a shout out to Valeria the girl at the front desk, as well as Max and Vero, who attended us for morning breakfast! Thanks Hotel Encanto for amazing stay at your wonderful hotel! You now have customers for life as we travel back and forth to Texas from California! Jess and Mary Borbon
This place is absolutely beautiful. Hidden jem for sure! The nice lady Max that works the restaurant so kind and professional.
Ambiance, service, rooms. All great and didn't cost a fortune!
Great restaurant inside the hotel, shout out Max for the great and very friendly service!
Pros- Good location, charming ambience, comfortable bed, good breakfast, friendly staff, modern bathrooms.
Cons- Struggling A/C, no restaurant or bar on Sundays or Mondays, popcorn ceiling, rooms are a bit dated, dusty smell, no pantry.
The room was spacious and clean. Beautiful property inside and out, with definite Southwest/Spanish design and decor. The outdoor pool area was tropical in appearance. Great location with dining options within walking distance.
No free breakfast, though the breakfast options at the Cantina were very good and reasonably priced.
They accepted pets.
The room did not have enough plugs, light and no fridge.
This hotel overall is an Encanto – its namesake in Spanish for enchanted! From the moment you walk in you feel as if you’ve entered a Spanish Colonial Villa over a couple of centuries ago! Going back in time with modern conveniences and luxuries is the way to go. Although not historical in the sense and prestige of La Posada in Winslow, AZ, this hotel stands as a perfect essence of what the southwest as a whole, especially what Las Cruces specifically is! Walking around the hotel you experience the museum, like experience from its architectural design, art pieces, sculptures, not to mention its overall ambience. Its minutes from everything. Having the opportunity to regularly stay over many accommodations across and occasionally outside the country, not a professional hotel reviewer by any means, and not a regular business traveler - but as a primarily pleasure and needs wanderer, I have developed as what I believe is my concise method for scoring the worthiness of each hotel visited. My criteria are as follows and the results are: 1) ease of access to and from public or private ground transportation [Score: 4.5 ]; 2) convenient and safe parking [Score: 4.5]; 3) access, accuracy and convenience of check in and check out [Score: 4.0]; 4) atmosphere, ambience, public facilities, lounging areas and access to an office center and Wi-Fi access [Score: 4.5]; 5) overall customer service - including but not limited to Hospitality, Support Services, Concierge knowledge, communication, attitude and demeanor of staff [Score: 4.5 ]; 6) quality, cleanliness, value, convenience, amenities (i.e., ironing board, iron, TV, charging access, phone, et.al.) and comfort of rooms, beds, room safe and/or valet services [Score: 4.5]; Taking all the aforementioned categories in a scale of 1 star to 5 stars with 1 being the worst and 5 being the best a hotel can be! This hotel rates a: 4.4. Most positive point(s) at this hotel are: the great customer service, cleanliness and atmosphere. Most negative points found here are: hard to find and/or think of.
