Good location, comfortable bed.
Bathroom had a moldy smell.Water stains on ceiling above the tub. Tub didn't have a safety mat or stickers on the tub floor. Very unsafe.
We are returning customers. Location is very convenient, quiet and easy to reach various parts of town. Our room was clean, comfortable with plenty of space for two. Staff is very friendly and accommodating.

The bed was sufficiently soft. The shower is a fair size. Breakfast was satisfactory. The temperature in the room was also nicely controlled. The curtains are properly thick to keep light out. Lastly, the Bluetooth speaker in the room was appreciated.
Several things I plant to talk with a representative from Booking.com to elaborate on the issues we had during our stay. The most jarring issues were the following:
1) The elevator stopped moving and jiggled with us inside. It was terrifying. We pressed a bunch of button options for about 15 seconds before it finally let us out at a different floor. We took a separate elevator to get back to the lobby. We asked a staffer about this and she said that this is normal. Nothing was done about it.
2) There was a man blocking the hallway of our floor who overdosed on drugs. This was an active emergency with multiple staffers involved and yet the workers at check-in did not warn us of or recommend a different floor until this was solved like they should have.
3) Large brown stains on the carpet in the room.
4) At check-in we were required to give $100 in cash as a deposit rather than it happening through the credit card I had on file. It required me to go to a bank, pay an extra fee, and come back. This delayed my check-in.
5) The phone in my room was not working and the front desk staff had no interest in solving this for us or providing alternative ideas for how to communicate directly with the front desk.
6) When we asked for filtered water, they said it could only be gotten from a water station in the lobby.
