entrückt vom trubel venedigs und leise verträumt liegt ein schönes „kleines“ haus in einem üppigen garten auf dem lido. das elegante kleinformatige hotel hat eine vornehme lässigkeit und bietet entspannung und komfort auf sehr hohem bürgerlichen niveau. absolute stilsicherheit und familiäre freundlichkeit. dauernde hilfsbereite präsenz, indoor und outdoor frühstück, salons, eine bar und kein schlechtes garten-restaurant. alle blickrichtungen des hauses gehen ins grüne, der (eigene) strand und das meer 5 min. entfernt. im gegensatz zu vielen anderen kommentaren sollen die gut ausgestatteten (bidet und wc, duschbad) sehr solide gearbeiteten sanitärräume keinesfalls „saniert“ werden. sie sind eine herrliche referenz an schöne saubere attraktive interior-details italiens. das haus ist glücklicherweise konsequent gut und sensibel gepflegt, es bewahrt seine zahlreichen artefakte aus verschiedenen historischen epochen des lido. klimaanlagen temperieren die zimmer.

The eccentric atmosphere, clientele and style. Amazingly personal interior and staff with both personality and high level of service. Reception staff booked a capanna in prima fila for us two days in a row, the best way to enjoy the original Lido. A new favourite hotel far from polished contemporary lifestyle and design hotels - instead real personality and a feeling of times past. The of menu Vongole the best I have tasted.

All the hotel staff were kind; they handled any issues we had with care and did their absolute best for us. The cake at breakfast was delicious. We made wonderful memories and would love to visit again!

Prima verblijf en zeker de moeite waard.
Pros:

Een prima hotel op het Lido dat we gebruikten tijdens onze bezoeken aan Venetië en de Biënnale. Gelegen in een rustige omgeving dicht bij het strand kun je heerlijk bijkomen van alle drukte van de stad. Gastvrij, prima kamers en een lekker ontbijt.

Cons:

De stoelen in de ruimte voor het ontbijt/diner zijn niet erg uitnodigend en maakte dat we vaak elders dineerden.

Sehr schönes Ambiente in Haus und Anlage, Parkmöglichkeiten vorhanden. Tolles Frühstück.

Cons:

Das Ambiente setzt sich in den Zimmern fort, für Hotelbetrieb und Unterkunft eher ungeeignet, alles etwas „vollgequetscht“. Bad renovierungsbedürftig.
Anlage ist etwas außerhalb, 20 min Fußweg zur Fähre nach Venedig-Zentrum. Kein kontinuierlicher Restaurant-Betrieb.
