A Wes Anderson dream with the warmth of an Italian family - perfection on the Lido.
Pros:

This is my favourite hotel in Venice / Lido, honestly maybe even Europe.
The decor and style of the property is immaculate (and far more beautiful in person than the pictures suggest). It feels as though an aristocrat, an artist, an antiquarian and an incredibly stylish Nonna lived together and jointly created a space that Wes Anderson would envy.
With that being said what makes the hotel stand apart from any other I’ve been to is the staff. I’ve never met more accommodative, friendly and professional staff. This gives the hotel the soul of being welcomed into an Italian family with the professional service you’d expect from top five-star resorts. The beach is not even a 5 minute walk away from the hotel but I ended up spending more time in the hotel courtyard because I didn’t want to leave.
The lady bartender makes the best Negroni in Italy - I was told this by a friend and can now personally confirm.
To conclude - perfect location, perfect staff, perfect decor.

Cons:

Nothing, it is perfect. The only downside is I liked the hotel so much I lacked motivation to leave to explore other areas!

Leider sehr enttäuschend

Wir haben das Hotel gewählt weil es keine 0/815 Unterkunft ist und durchwegs gute Bewertungen hatte. Die Lage ist ok. Nicht weit vom Strand entfernt. zum Vaporetto nach Venedig ist es ca 1 1/2 km Fußweg.
Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit großem Balkon in den Garten. Wäre schön wenn er auch gepflegt wäre - Spinnweben überall, ein Tisch mit Spannplatte weil anscheinend die Glasplatte kaputt ist......

Also das Hotel hat schon bessere Zeiten erlebt ! Es fehlt im ganzen Bereich die Pflege. Ganz schlimm ist es beim Frühstück im Freien. Das Frühstücksangebot ist ok. Will man jedoch im Garten frühstücken, was im Sommer gewünscht ist, kommt es darauf an wer schneller ist - Sie oder die Tauben. Man kann den Tisch keine Sekunde aus den Augen lassen und schon sind die Tauben beim Fressen- aber nicht nur eine, sondern viele, viele. Es ist TOTAL UNHYGIENISCH !!!!!
Das Abendessen ist MISERABEL - mein Mann musste nach den "Genuss" eines Fisches die ganze Nacht erbrechen!!
Wir haben kein weiteres mal dort gegessen.
