Not a lot of healthy vegetarian food options
This is NOT the Hyatt onsite at the airport. Our stay was noisy, rooms were oversold, staff were spare - no doorman. The room was clean and good enough I guess as we stayed there only 1 night but I would be highly annoyed if I was there for any reason other than a layover.
Clean upscale rooms, ample food options in spacious atrium lobby, helpful & professional staff throughout. Super location.
Excellent location for an early flight. The airport shuttle runs every 15 minutes. The staff was professional, friendly and very helpful.
This was my eighth time staying at this Hyatt, I have stayed at Hyatt properties throughout the world and have always been very happy with Hyatt quality and service- until this trip. There must be new management here-Worst Hyatt in the world. It is under construction. The hotel reservation center had us moving rooms part way through the trip, without letting us know- just deactivated our key so we could not get back into our room. Then housekeeping would not show up. Five calls over three nights. Finally the housekeeping manager called, apologized and said he would credit my Hyatt points for the inconvenience. He lied. He did not, he just wanted to shut me up. My daughter came on this trip with me- she makes a mess- really needed new towels so I could get a shower- but nope. No morning coffee, they couldn’t be bothered to replace the coffee pods or cups when housekeeping finally shows up after two nights.
It was a great experience with helpful staff, clean room, and pleasant atmosphere. I will be staying here again when in the area.
Great service at front desk, restaurant, and housekeeping. Stay away from gift shop. 16 for two water bottles and gift shop staff were rude and unhelpful. DoorDash is your best best.
The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The environment in clean and comfortable. We look forward to staying here every year! Highly recommend!
I stayed at this hotel for the CTA Presidents Conference and unfortunately had one of the most uncomfortable experiences.
After checking into my room, I laid down for a nap—only to realize the mattress was damp and had an odor. As I was wet, it was clear that someone had urinated on the mattress before my arrival. I was horrified. A clean sheet had been placed over the dirty mattress.
I immediately contacted the front desk. To their credit, the staff person was apologetic, arranged a new room for me right away, and said she'd speak to housekeeping. The second room thankfully was clean.
I hope management takes stronger steps to ensure rooms are thoroughly inspected before guests arrive so no one else has to go through something like this.
Hyatt never disappoints. Organized, clean, excellent food and service. My stay at the Hyatt is always pleasant! I would recommend staying there to my family and friends.
This is based on my experience at the San Francisco airport shuttle to the hotel around 10:30 pm on February the 12th. We waited for the airport shuttle for approximately 25 minutes. Meanwhile other hotels like the Hilton double tree and aloft had their shuttle come around twice. A call to the hotel said the shuttle would be there in 12 minutes. Finally, the shuttle shows up after 25 minutes. There are a bunch of airline personnel also waiting for the shuttle. Although my bags were in line, the driver kept loading all the other bags ahead of mine. When protested, he started yelling at the top of his voice. "They have priority over you. I don't have to take you. If you act smart, I will leave you here. I WILL REFUSE TAKE YOU AND YOU CAN STAY HERE". Incredibly rude, very unprofessional.
I have been a globalist for 8 years. Hyatt, guess I'll take your shuttle drivers advice and take my business elsewhere. Perhaps where I am treated more as a priority and where I don't get yelled by the airport shuttle drivers. Thanks Hyatt regency SFO!
Airport shuttle very convenient, running every 15min. Also drivers very friendly and helpful, Room clean, quiet. I had lower floor and cheapest room but was still give a room with nice view of airport.
Go to the Grand Hyatt and avoid the Hyatt Regency! The Hyatt Regency is an old worn-out facility. Long dead hallways and few beverage and dining options. Opt for the Grand Hyatt an updated hotel.
I lived the central atrium where the restaurant was. Easy to get to
Nothing
Great location. Very convenient for early flight.
Room is very basic.
I had a wonderful room on the top floor with an amazing view of Burlingame and Highway 101. It was also super quiet. I loved the modern shower. Check in was great and fast. Jennifer at the bar was a great bartender and very sweet and kind. Bethany at check out was awesome as well! Overall this stay exceeded my expectations by miles. Thank you Hyatt Regency San Francisco Airport!
Unless you're getting a killer rate, I would find another hotel. The rooms are pretty outdated. The food is mediocre and overpriced. And be sure to request a room near the elevators or you will be walking miles to your room. Hopefully the escalators are working when you are there because if not, you have to walk even more. Also, make sure there isnt a convention when you're there or getting onto the elevators will be a nightmare and you will have to take the emergency exit stairs all the way up to your room.
