Nothing
I enjoyed a late meal in the dining room after a. long flight, the service was excellent.
The hotel is amazing. The atrium is top notch, food great, and staff incredibly friendly and welcoming. I would definitely return.
The Hyatt Regency was a relaxing retreat from the airport and long day of travel. It is also conveniently located to SFO at an attractive price that includes upscale amenities like a restaurant, bar, business center, and quiet rooms. The staff greeted me and anticipated my needs for check in, water bottles, and information about the city. Everyone I spoke to seemed like they enjoyed working together and creating a hospitable atmosphere. I highly recommend as a place to stay for all around comfort and convenience.
Convenient to airport, clean, quiet except for the occasional rude guest in the hallway that didn't think anyone could hear how loud they were. Could not hear the jets and we enjoyed watching them and the bay view. Shuttle convenient. The friendly staff was very helpful as we needed a wheelchair, shower chair and help with luggage. Food options are limited and expensive. Thankful we could order Whole Foods or other food to the lobby for pick up.
I checked in at 4 PM and immediately requested slippers. Despite three follow-up calls, they only arrived around 9 PM — five hours later. On our last day, we had the “Do Not Disturb” sign up until noon, then removed it before leaving. When we returned in the evening, the room had not been cleaned, and basic amenities like water and coffee were not replenished.
To top it off, at checkout the front desk staff didn’t even bother to ask how our stay was. The whole experience made it clear that guest comfort and satisfaction are simply not a priority for this hotel. I would not recommend staying here.
Location
Breakfast was simply awful-the coffee undrinkable, tasted like it was burnt, the steel cut oatmeal was not made with any milk so it wasn’t good and all of it was way overpriced for what we got.
It's the people. They are so kind and care about your stay. when traveling, that is exactly what you want. Nothing is ever perfect but if you have an issue at this hotel, it gets fixed immediately and without attitude. They want you to enjoy your stay.
Very easy to get to location right off the highway. The atrium is beautiful and super unique. My room was very clean but I couldn't figure out how to lower the brightness on the alarm clock. The room was a little expensive for my taste but it was very much worth it and had a great view of the bay and airport, which if you like jets is very cool. The housekeepers did a great job making sure I had all my essentials and were very friendly. I didn't notice too much noise despite being so close to the airport. The staff was very amicable to my requests and the free water and ice was apricated. Would recommend the bar, restaurant, and little market they have for a quick bite.
We had only booked one night at the Hyatt Regency before flying home to New Zealand the next evening. Looking back, we both found ourselves wishing we’d booked a longer stay!
When we arrived at the hotel, we were much earlier than our booked-in time, and honestly, we weren’t sure what to expect. We were so relieved and grateful when the staff welcomed us warmly and let us check in three hours ahead of schedule. It meant a lot to us after our long journey. On top of that, they arranged a late check-out for us the next day at no extra cost. The gentleman at reception was incredibly kind and genuinely seemed to care about making our stay comfortable. We truly appreciated his friendliness and support.
Every staff member we spoke to in the Market and Restaurant was so helpful and made us feel genuinely welcome. Even though the hotel is quite large, the personal touches and friendly smiles from everyone we met made us feel right at home. We honestly felt like guests rather than just customers, and that made a big difference.
Our room was spacious and had a lovely view of the bay. We found it extremely comfortable and thoughtfully equipped—it felt like a real treat after weeks on the road. The highlight for us was definitely the pool. After three weeks of travelling through northern California in a rented RV—an amazing adventure, but a tiring one!—we needed a break. Relaxing by the pool was pure bliss, and for the first time in ages, I actually managed to finish a whole book.
If we’re lucky enough to return to California someday, we’ll book the Hyatt Regency again—this time, for more than just one night!
The hotel was in a great area and the hotel was clean
