Loud party music from Place Luxembourg keeps you awake
Pros:

i am writing this review after having zero sleep yesterday night because the VERY LOUD party music coming from Place Luxembourg at night keeps you awake.

It is absolutely impossible to sleep. The hotel windows have double glazing but it has zero effect against the BOP BOP BOP TICK TICK TICK that reverberates through the area at night.

My room was on the top (6th floor) of the hotel and I still got zero sleep.

At 200+ Euro per night, I expect good sleep. Being kept awake by party music is absolutely not acceptable.

I mentioned it to the staff at checkout, they could not care less. They basically shrugged their shoulders and said "bof". Clearly its normal for Place Luxembourg and normal for Renaissance.

Never, ever again.

Perfect space for business trip
Pros:

The breakfast was great - huge choice and everything delicious.
The hotel is very nice, even if the equipment is a bit worn out, but it was rather visible in the corridor than in the room. Anyway, the room was spacious, very comfortable and clean. Very well equipped with everything you need on a business trip: a wardrobe with many coat hangers, an iron, a big mirror, a shoe polishing set.

Pros:

Great location, friendly staff.
I appreciated the free water dispenser near the elevator, where you can refill your glass bottles.

Cons:

At check-in, they asked me for a €50 deposit for no reason (never happened at any other hotel), which was refunded A WEEK later. This alone is reason enough to not return to this hotel.
The insulation from the outside was bad; you could hear street noise even with the windows completely closed.
There was no toilet brush.
The fire alarm went off somewhere around 8:00 on Sunday morning.
The room hygiene could be improved.
Not up to par with the price and quality expected from a hotel of this type.

Calm, clean og close to alot
Pros:

Very cozy and comfortable mood there. The older gentleman who was working in the restaurant (I think his name was mike?) was amazing. So professional and warm.

The TV in room 610 didn't work and the interconnecting doors were locked between our rooms. Despite asking for them to be unlocked three times, they never did unlock them despite booking interconnecting rooms. Very annoying

Typiquement le genre d’hôtel dans lequel je n’ai pas envie de remettre les pieds!
Pros:

À dire vrai….pas grand chose…. Ambiance totalement froide, personnel assez mal aimable dans l’ensemble. Impossible après 23 h de prendre un verre au bar où l’on a été très mal reçu à 23h05!
Pas de couverture supplémentaire dans la chambre: j’ai dû en réclamer une pour la seconde nuit car la couette était extrêmement légère.

Cons:

À peu près tout…. Je ne peux pas parler du petit déjeuner car étant donné l’atmosphère peu agréable de l’hôtel, nous avons préféré le prendre à l’extérieur.
