It was good enough, but could’ve been better. A bit overpriced for what it was.
Pros:

Breakfast was good, but was the same thing every day. It also could’ve used more variety. The main things were just potato and frittata.

Cons:

The rooms look very old and dilapidated. They could use some renovating. Also, when I came into my room, the couch cushion was missing a cover so all you saw was foam, and the balcony door would not lock. When I told the front desk about this they did send someone up right away to fix these issues, but still. Not what you would expect to find upon entering your room on the first day at a five star hotel. They also didn’t have slippers or robes that most hotels of this caliber just give you.

Chic hotel in West Hollywood
Pros:

The rooms and the location are the best part of the hotel. The rooms are big, spacious, light, well equipped. The location is amazing as well, within walking distance of restaurants and shops and close to Beverly Hills, 10 minutes by car.

Cons:

300 dollars per night as a deposit, which for 4 nights is not cheap, for already prepaid room. Additionally, when i thought I had paid in full already prior to arrival, it turns out there was additional amenity tax to pay at checkout. Yes, this sum was reflected as the difference between the prepaid sum and the total hotel charge, but still, somehow this should have been communicated better, not nice to have thought you already settled the bill, and there is still 193 dollars to pay.

Large rooms, friendly staff and a great rooftop pool
Pros:

Guest only pool
Quiet and large rooms
Friendly staff across the board
Complimentary breakfast is an excellent inclusion

Cons:

West Hollywood can be a noisy area and there’s nothing the hotel can do about that but be prepared to hear sirens etc.

Great place to stay in West Hollywood
Pros:

We spent 3 nights at The London West Hollywood.
The hotel has alot to offer and the staff are very attentive.
The rooms could do with an upgrade - them seem a bit tired.

Nos gustó!
Pros:

Very disappointing handling of an accident involving our daughter
Pros:

We had genuinely enjoyed our stay at The London West Hollywood. The hotel is beautiful and most of the staff had been wonderful. We liked it so much that friends of ours actually booked and arrived during our stay based on our recommendation.

Cons:

Unfortunately, everything changed on our final day. As our children were about to play ping-pong on the terrace, the table suddenly collapsed before our 7-year-old daughter had even touched it, falling onto her foot. She was unable to walk, and we spent our final afternoon and evening in Los Angeles at Cedars-Sinai Emergency Department. The following day she still couldn’t walk, so we also had to cancel our plans, including a Warner Bros. visit with friends.

What disappointed us most was the hotel’s response. We fully understand that medical liability is handled by insurance — our own travel insurance covered the medical care. What we expected from a hotel of this standard was empathy, an apology and some acknowledgement of what our family had experienced.

Nobody from senior management came to ask how our daughter was or personally apologize. Even though the General Manager was at the hotel that morning, we were simply given his business card and told to contact him ourselves.

Accidents can happen. How a hotel responds to them is a choice. Sadly, after an otherwise wonderful stay, we left feeling deeply disappointed by the lack of care and hospitality shown when we needed it most.
