It’s ok for the price.
Pros:

The location is Georgetown which is crowded and high traffic. There is no metro access to the area. It’s got lots of shops and restaurants. Beds were comfy.

No metro access. High traffic in and out. Takes a long time to get to other parts of DC.

The location was nearby the union station and to many of the places I was visiting. It was also easy to find.

The hotel seemed very old. It was a bit creepy as well. It could use some updating. The bathroom was also small.

El aire goteaba agua, un chorro salía por la parrilla, las chicas de housekeeping muy amables trataron de ayudar que se corrigiera. La puerta del baño no cerraba y hacia ruido. El techo del baño estaba con Moho. quieren aprovecharse del tema del Valet parking 100 dolares al dia, cuando hay opciones alrededor de 30 dolares.

ac in room was so loud and noisy, so we were moved to another room. same thing.. bathrooms need update. you need to ask for coupons for breakfast at front desk. breakfast is by order from different breakfast card. took forever to make avocado toast - comes cold.. evening shift on front desk was not so friendly. we paid $730 for two nights.. it does not worth it.

Great Experience

Hotel is BEAUTIFUL! I was impressed with the beautiful lobby with many seats to sit and relax. I was equally impressed with the customer service received from Shy (spelling?). She greeted us with a nice smile and seemed genuinely happy that we were there. She answered all of our questions and gave us a thorough run down of the hotel amenities. She is great!!! The location was easy to find and a 5 min walk to the metro station. Loved that Trader Joe's was practically across the street! The beds were comfy!!! We went to breakfast in the hotel and came to the room to get right back that bed. It was calling us! Speaking of breakfast, which was complementary for us, the Foggy Bottom option was fabulous (other than the potatoes could have been cooked a little more, but they were still ok). The wait staff was very attentitive especially Sofian!

Cons:

The rooms could use a little TLC. The accommodations were nice and the room was pretty clean, but a little dated. I didnt mind because it added to the charm of the experience; however, I did think the carpets needed cleaning and the walls could use a washdown (esp in the bathroom). There was a handle missing from one of the drawers but we didnt use them so it was no bother to us. Overall though, it was a decent room!

The air conditioning did not work. We visited during early spring and the weather had warmed up quickly. The rooms were stuffy and hot. So uncomfortable to sleep! We switched rooms and one of our 2 rooms was a little cooler because it was not in direct sunlight. For the 3 days we stayed the air conditioning never worked. It seemed like a whole building issue. The rooms were also a little worn out- furniture with stitching ripped out and dirty wallpaper in the bathroom.

Lage top, extrem großes Zimmer, kostenlos Kaffee und Tee am Morgen

Cons:

Duschkopf ist fix montiert. Der Wasserdruck lässt sich nicht regeln und ist extrem stark. Fenster lassen sich nicht öffnen. Fenster lassen viel Schall von draußen durch.
