Pros:

Außergewöhnliche Unterkunft- wir hatten ein Upgrade auf 2 Poolhütten erhalten- vielen Dank nochmal! Die Dusche und Toilette der einen war draußen - die andere hatte runde Türen- ähnlich wie Frodos Haus bei Herr der Ringe ☺️. Beides sehr individuelle und aussergewöhnliche Unterkünfte. Es war eine Freude, dort zu übernachten!

Cons:

Wir waren in der Seegrassaison dort- ( Juli 26)- Baden im Meer war durch meterdicke Seegeasteppiche im Meer und riesigen Haufe am Strand kaum möglich. Dafür kann das Hotel natürlich nichts- ich würde eine andere Reise- Zeit empfehlen, wenn der Fokus auf dem Strand liegt. Dann ist der Strand sicher traumhaft- Blick auf die archäologische Stätte Tulum inklusive.
Das Frühstück am Meer war sehr schön, wir fanden die Preise im Vergleich zu anderen mexikanischen Hotels eher hoch (70-80€ für 4 Personen).

Pros:

I really loved the entire property has calm and beautiful energy. the place is well taken cared of. I stayed in tree house and it has lots of space for myself. The stuff is really helpful and attentive whenever I need. I could walk in the Jaguar park at night. I totally loved it. I want to come back again.

Cons:

Beach is not good condition bc of seaweed when I stayed. But there is pool in my private space and común area so I could enjoy water.

Pros:

Strand, Bauweise und Lage der Hütte (wobei wir Glück hatten, andere sind neben dem Stromaggregat oder neben der boomboom Bar nebenan), grösstenteils das Essen (wobei es etwas abhängt wer da ist, wir hatten auch kühlschtankkalte Tacos), aber generell sehr gut. Das Personal ist grösstenteils sehr nett

Verletzubgsgefahr im Poolbereich (lose, spitze Bretter, kaputte Liegen)
Sehr massive Bedrängung von manchen vom Personal Trinkgeld zu geben, an der Grenze zu unverschämt und inakzeptabel.. auch die erwartete Höhe (nach Absprache mit Rezeption wird kein Trinkgeld "erwartet", es wäre frei zu geben was man mag). Nach Diskussion darüber wurden wir komplett für 2 Tage ignoriert.
Essen zu teuren europäischen Preisen. Hauptgang 30 bis 40 Euro. Keine Alternative Versorgung möglich, d.h. will man was Essen oder Trinken, MUSS man dort ins Restaurant.
Nebensaison war nett, da wenig los... leider hat es das Personal nicht dazu genutzt die freie Zeit für Maintenance zu nutzen.

A unique and stylish beachfront retreat
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The property is very stylish, with a unique concept of standalone rooms nestled within a beautiful natural park. There is plenty of greenery, many birds, and incredibly soft white sand throughout the property, making it a pleasure to walk barefoot. The hotel is located right on the beach.

The rooms are unique and beautifully designed. We especially loved our room with a plung pool, it was a fantastic experience.

The property is located within a secured area. There is a security checkpoint at both the entrance and exit where vehicles are inspected. Alcohol and water in plastic bottles are not allowed, so glass containers are recommended. Car checked every time you enter, and the process can take around 10 minutes, including trunk inspection.

The staff were friendly and accommodating. We were moved to a different room after the first day upon our request because we had initially been assigned a different room than expected. Both rooms were beautiful and comfortable, and we actually enjoyed experiencing two different room styles during our stay.

The town is only about a 10-minute drive away, making it easy to access restaurants.

We visited during the low season, and unfortunately there was a significant amount of sargassum seaweed on the beach and in the water.

There are lots of mosquitoes, so need to have a spray.

Cons:

The main downside was the dining experience. There is only one restaurant on the property, the menu selection is quite limited, and the prices are significantly higher than expected. We were surprised to find that similar breakfasts would cost less even in Canada. We also felt uncomfortable with the strong expectation of a 10–15% tip, as staff seemed reluctant to process payment without adding one.
