Beautiful, perfect for disconnecting, clean, the staff was very attentive, just bring strong mosquito repellent. The national park was beautiful, easy to go around with the shuttles, restaurant was good but expensive. Overall great experience.
My stay at Ikal was phenomenal. I was looking for an opportunity to enjoy a wellness experience and they delivered. The room was just as advertised and they had a wonderful schedule of activities. The location in the national park gave us access to several beach clubs and restaurants along the beach so I could really explore the area.
The staff was amazing, super communicative and accommodated our needs/addressed any questions.
Would definitely return during peak season or visit their sister property on my next trip.

Love the tree house, beautiful experience.
This is a VERY unique property and you can expect to have a totally iconic experience here. It’s not for everyone, but I loved it! You definitely need a love of nature! The rooms are cabins of all sort with outdoor private POOLS, bathrooms, sinks and toilets fenced in their own private spaces with trees, sand and sun! The cabins are air conditioned! You can leave your cabin ‘area’ and walk down to the beach to find loungers and an open air restaurant and bar. There are open-air trams that are free to ride that run outside the hotel to take you to other parts of the park for sight seeing too.
A beautiful place with all the comfort you need inside a national park. On walk distance from Tulum’s archeological site. I highly recommend it.

This was honestly the best hotel stay. I originally booked for 2 nights but tried to add one night but i made a mistake. The staff really tried to fix everything ahead of us getting there. Even though they are booked they moved around the rooms so we could stay in the same room. Their service is excellent. But i have to say i admire the cleaning staff the most. The property was right on the beach i had to walk through sand to step into my garden suite. Tried as i might but i kept getting sand all over the room. Everyday i come back after the room cleaning all the sand is gone in the room!! I know it must be very difficult to do so kudo to the staff. Also our pool in the garden is cleaned everyday perfectly! We enjoyed the mayan ritual offered by the hotel. If there's a minor complaint the shower pressure can be better. Otherwise we loved it and we hope we can come can soon!
Awesome hidden place
Everything! Love our treehouse hitel with a plunge pool and the accessibility to the beach and restaurants. But most of all, the staff from the check in, to the porters, restaurant w I rlers, and housekeeping. Would definitely come bavk.
El lugar es excelente y la experiencia tambien lo unico que no quedamos conforme fue que lo que uno escoje de cuarto online no es lo q te dan cuando llegas y tampoco la opcion a elejir si no lo q ellos tengan a su disponibilidad lo que no entiendo es porque no te lo dicen de antes de llegar el cuarto q nos toco no tenia nada igual a las fotos que muestra en la pagina de expedia,el lugar es muy lindo pero mejor antes de llegar para no tener sorpresas como yo mejor pregunten al hotel que room les van a dar porque cuando fui a reclamar a front desk me dijeron que es asi,te dan lo que tengan a disponibilidad y si no te gusta es lo que hay no te dan una solucion o opcion despues que ya pagastes
This entire property is dreamy! We stayed at the glamping cabins and it was an amazing experience. The only think I wish the cabin had was a mirror. Also the food service was often pretty to slow but other than that we really enjoyed our stay!
Check-n process was overly complicated with having to use WhatsApp and barcode reader. It was the longest che h-in process i gave ever experienced. The staff were very helpful but it took way too long for a siple process
We have spend 6 nights in the tree house room there and still regret we did not book longer stay in this beautiful place. Amazing eco friendly hotel in the middle of a jungle, just right on the beach. Located in the Jaguar park, with shittle services across the park which allows as well explore the location at ease and your own pace. Loved the atmosphere, the design, service was very good- staff friendly and helpful, food delicious a bit pricey but keeping in mind Tulum prices, it was ok. Morning joga with the view to the beach was amazing. And the Margaritas there were the best and we tried them in many places. Would definately come back here.
I stayed at two resorts in Tulum and I made the decision to return to Ikal. Absolutely stunning beach. Beautiful rooms. Falling asleep to the sound of the ocean crashing is incredibly luxurious. Great food. Friendly staff. The location is unmatched.
