we reported a need for repairs on the t paper holder, as it was falling off the wall. We stayed in the same room 1 wk later and it was the same.

We booked a suite. It had a bad smell, we had to wait for more than an hour waiting for the room to be cleaned. The stuff were very rude. And the dogs in the hotel and on the floor was nothing I have ever experienced in a hotel. I would never recommend this particular hotel in Emporia. I have stayed at some of them but this was the waste

Extremely disappointing.
Pros:

Location, convenient off I-95. Lobby was clean. Staff was pleasant.

Cons:

The room was not comfortable. The beds were too soft. The pillows were entirely too soft. The bed squeaks terribly every time you moved.

Water pressure in the shower was terrible. The bathroom laminate on the counters was peeling off. The toilet paper was attached far underneath the cabinet and you couldn’t even see it without getting on your knees and looking under.

All of the corners of the room had dirt very unclean. Mold in the caulking in the shower.

Pros:

The staff was friendly, helpful, and professional. The room was a double. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The complimentary breakfast is very good. It saves time while traveling so you don't have to look for a breakfast stop on top of loading the car and checking out.

Cons:

The refrigerator was very noisy. But we travel with ear plugs! The sliding or barn doors are a disaster! On our outbound leg we had to change rooms, and even in the new room the Bard Door was very hard to slide. They need a lot of loving car. The bathroom always is damaged. The facing on the sink cabinet was damaged in both rooms on our trip. And the tub was not repaired properly when finishing the detailing between the floor and tube. Finally, the house phone was unplugged!

NEVER again at Hampton.

Cons:

Urine stained chair, chipped vanity looked like it would fall apart, worn shower floor looked dirty but was probably just worn. Same for pool, probably clean but looked dirty because of the worn bottom.
Tub caulking missing and dirty, black corners.
Absolutely disgusting black mold in various places, especially under the vanity rim.
I have the pictures.
Hampton Inn and Hilton should be ashamed to have their names associated with this place.
I will never trust Hampton Inn again.

We were allowed to check-in 1/2 early, William in breakfast room was great!!

Cons:

Really nothing other than a grab bar in shower would have help. Typical nice place, that why we stay at Hampton Inns if we can
