Pros:

The location is excellent, right in the city centre and within easy walking distance of the University of Zurich and ETH Zurich. I especially loved the bakery just opposite the hotel, the bread is freshly baked every day, with a huge variety to choose from. There are also two Coop nearby, both within walking distance. The hotel is set in a residential neighbourhood, so the surroundings are clean, attractive and feel very safe. Our room even had a terrace, with a lovely view of the church bell tower. The only downside was that it could be a bit noisy at night, which affected sleep. The staff were really nice. I particularly liked one lovely girl with curly hair who could speak Chinese, chatting with her was a real pleasure.

normally it is a nice place to stay.

Cons:

there was no info about construction on site through booking.com and during the check-in nothing was mentioned about the water cut the next day. there was no possibility to take a shower

Cons:

That hotel was full of paint smell, I was not able to breath properly. Also my eyes are infected because of that.
Of course later they changed the hotel near airport, I have to travel 1 hour in public transport to city centre everyday. That’s too hectic

Super Lage - 15 Gehminuten vom Hbf entfernt. Sauberes Zimmer, gut ausgestattet mit Kaffeemaschine, Wasserkocher und Kühlschrank. Scheller Check-in und freundliches Personal.

Totally recommended!
Pros:

The hotel was very beautiful and comfortable, but what I appreciated most was the exceptional staff. Shortly after checking in, I realized I had left my backpack on the train. The receptionist was incredibly helpful; he helped me stay calm and explained exactly where to go at the station and what to say. He even gave me a hotel business card with their contact info in case I needed to provide a local phone number. Thanks to his support, I was able to recover my backpack with all my documents and valuables!
The room itself was lovely, clean, and well-equipped. My only minor observation is that it felt a bit small for three people, but it was still a very pleasant stay. Regarding cleanliness, everything was impeccable except for one detail: my brother had to remove some hair from the shower drain because the water wasn't flowing properly, which was a bit unpleasant. However, the rest of the room was spotless.
I definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again! Thank you so much for everything!
