We really like to stay here when visiting the city. Everything is so clean and it’s quiet. On this particular trip that I had booked months in advance, at the last minute I invited a friend that needed to get away to go with us. I called and spoke to Jaslin R at the front desk inquiring about a roll away bed for my friend as I didn’t want to change rooms (yes we have a favorite room). I laughed and told her that even though it was our anniversary sometimes, friends are more important. Well, what a very nice surprise when we walked in to find two delicious chocolate cupcakes with Happy Anniversary on them and chilled sparkling wine for us! Jaslin remembered what I had said! Another sweet clerk was Molly Grace (my late mom’s name was Grace). Anyway, I can not give five stars because we so miss the good old restaurant and can’t stand the new one. So we have to pack up a bit early and leave to get breakfast elsewhere before heading home, which is a tiny bit inconvenient after all the years of staying here.
Lovely historic charm.
Rodeo San Antonio annual trip we always stay here.
Easy fun place to stay and get around to and from RODEO ON HOUSTON ST.
Amenities are good. Bar is fun. Coffee in the AM is great. Four Brothers was great for breakfast 😋
Lovely hotel with an excellent location on the San Antonio Riverwalk. The room with balcony was large, very clean and comfortable.
The restaurants associated with the hotel have wonderful menus and locations on the Riverwalk with excellent service and atmosphere. Easy walking distance to the Alamo and La Villita and the pool is a beautiful oasis for outdoor relaxation.
If you're looking for the BEST location to stay on the San Antonio Riverwalk, this is the place! Central location within short walking distance to The Alamo, Historic Market, La Villita and San Fernando Cathedral. Great hotel service, and the water pressure in the shower is amazing.
Supposed to be very friendly hotel ads San Antonio showing but it's very dated and he needed paint repair. Mattress was too firm
This is the best hotel location in all of San Antonio. Short walking distance to all the must-do San Antonio experiences!
Location, staff, room
Parking way too expensive, not great value for an expensive room

My stay was wonderful at the Omni La Mansion in San Antonio. I was there for business but they were so helpful and accommodating to my schedule. From front desk, housekeeping, valet team, and reservations, it was a seamless experience!
Riverwalk was right out the back of the hotel and near some of the best restaurants on the Riverwalk. Starbucks was a quick block and a half for my morning iced latte.
Great location and nice staff but the room I stayed in was not arranged well. Bed was so close to the dresser you could barely open the doors. Bathroom commode was so close to the vanity it was hard to maneuver around in there. Closet was the smallest I have ever seen. Apparently not all the rooms are that small so maybe request something bigger if you need more space like me. Also the layout is extremely difficult to figure out because I think it used to be an old school. One elevator wasn't working which made it harder to navigate thru the hotel. Location was great, food was great!
Omni La Mansion del Rio is beautiful, the location is perfect, and their entire team is incredibly kind and professional. Highly recommend this wonderful historic hotel.
Beautiful historic property and bathrooms have been redone. Right on the river walk.
Door to the balcony wouldn’t stay closed and shower has a drainage problem and water leaked onto bathroom floor and into room carpet. Lots so long dark hallways remind you how old the building is.
The team at Omni La Mansion is kind, sincere, caring and make you feel right at home-actually I never want to stay longer anywhere, but I wanted to stay longer HERE! It's a beautiful, restored historic hotel set in the perfect location on River Walk right next to the "Selena" movie bridge.
The service, amenties, and food were exceptional and I cannot wait to go back to San Antonio to revisit our Omni La Mansion family.
The Omni is a lovely, comfortable place to stay. The view is wonderful, on the river walk, close to everything. The service was pleasant and helpful.
Absolutely stunning property. One of a kind.
My wife and I went to San Antonio for our 18h Wedding Anniversary, we enjoyed the atmosphere and has a really nice vibe, the hotel location is central to everything. Rooms could be a bit better unless you’re booking facing the Riverwalk it was difficult to get daylight, our room was facing the courtyard and exposed to people walking down the hallways so not great privacy there. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I had called ahead for a romantic surprise to be set up for m wife when we got there and they nailed it! 🥂👍🏼 Other than that great spot and food at all their restaurants. Will definitely recommend.
The history and the structure
Elevator was out of service, but we used another one.
