I had towels for everything, outside/inside mats
Not very many options for food at certain times
It was clean, the room was excellent, the staff were all amazing from front desk to valets, to wait staff. The restaurants were great, plenty of stuff in walking distance.
I always wish the bath towels were larger
Men's health facilities

Hotel is located in the heart of Anchorage. We walked all around. Went to Humpys for crab and it was great. Walked to Fire Island Rustic Bakeshop and it was excellent. Coffee and tea available in lobby and rooms were nice and clean.
Steam bath is my most appreciated facility to utilize while I’m there.
Nothing
The view was unbelievable.
The room was very comfortable. Staff was amazing. Breakfast restaurant was awesome.
Had an excellent meal at the Crow's Nest. Excellent food and service. Were seated in what is the probably the best table in the Crow's Nest. It was an outside corner where we could see in two directions.
Room was VERY WARM.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Captain Cook!! The staff was helpful, the room was great and the restaurants offered amazing food.
The old world ambiance
Overpriced for the winter season. The bathrooms are extremely outdated and the tub was not cleaned. Also the toilets are difficult to flush because you have to hold the handle down until the tissue goes down.
The hotel is fine. It feels more of a historical visit and a view of the state's business state, than a resort or a vacation hotel. It has 3 towers with rooms and many conference/meeting rooms, as well as a few restaurants/bars. It is walking distance to many of site restaurants and bars, as well as the Anchorage conference center and downtown. There are gyms in the building (one for men and one fro women, based on door labels - never checked them)
Check in was fine, but front desk was not friendly any time that I interacted with them.
Room was spacious and clean. It had the usual offered: TV, refrigerator, microwave, seating area, desk. The advantage of being high enough and facing west, I was able to see the sunset. The WiFi was horrible - never working and I end up using my mobile hot-spot.
There are city parking all around, so easy to park a car.
For the room price and the quality of the room/service, I will not stay there again if I can avoid it.
Great holiday Christmas decorations
Rooms are dated but clean
Location, view, restaurants,
Price is high.
