Historic and charming
Pros:

Very clean. Walking distance to Beale Street. On-site restaurant is reasonably priced. Small deli and variety of shops on site. Must see is the twice daily duck walk.

Wish I stayed here
Pros:

Went for a visit one morning during our stay to see the famous duck march. I was very surprised to see the excited people coming to see ducks march. It was good fun. Also went to the Summer Rooftop party held every Thursday night. It was the best night of our 3 week holiday in the South. The band and atmosphere were amazing. It's definitely a night not to be missed.

Beautiful hotel with period features.
Asked for a kettle for the room as we are tea drinkers.
It was supplied in next to no time.

The Peabody Made Our Trip to Memphis Special!
Pros:

The hotel is so beautiful! Our room was so comfortable and the attention to detail is amazing. I loved the handmade pottery coffee mugs in the room. We enjoyed having cocktails in the lobby and relaxing in this lovely, historic hotel. We also enjoyed the Thursday night party on the roof.

Cons:

I liked everything.

The Peabody is elegant, comfy, happy and tasty - just ducky
Pros:

Loved the ducks. Duck master was very informative and friendly. Host at the Italian grill was very accommodating. Valets and staff at the desks, deli and gift shop were very nice, upbeat and helpful. One even helped me rise from sitting on the floor after watching the ducks. The lobby was so festive, beautiful and comfortable. Loved the live piano music. Everything smelled good. Shower pressure/temperature was good. Loved the duck soap and duck decor everywhere. Best sandwich I ever had! Loved the Peabody merchandise, but I wish the fountain motif on the tee shirt had been on the front instead of the back of the shirt. We enjoyed our stay so much, we stopped by again on the way back and have told several people about the hotel. We hope to visit again! Novel and beautiful - well-done!

Cons:

I would have bought a terry Peabody robe, but $225 seemed a little excessive. I wish the Italian grill had had more Italian food like spumoni, gelato or chicken primavera. A small frig would have been nice.

Wonderful Experience with History
Pros:

The hotel stay was great; the history tour was very informative; the ambiance in the lobby bar was great. Since we checked in on a Monday and checked out on a Thursday, we missed the rooftop experience, Chez Philippe, and the Sunday Brunch. The retail spaces (Lansky's) were fun, and I made several purchases. When I walked through the women's boutique, the two employees were having a conversation and didn't acknowledge me until I walked out the door. So, I skipped making purchases there.
