Beautiful building. Great location. Champagne on arrival. On-site café for breakfast and coffee to go. Rooms were.huge, clean and comfortable. We stayed in historical wing.

The staff are always great. Polite, professional and well spoken. A pleasure to be around. We love the ambiance of the hotel. The only downside was the emptiness of the fifth floor .
We were on the fifth floor of king suites. The whole floor looked sort of unfinished. No decorations, no paintings on the walls

The Pfister is a lovely historic hotel. Staff were helpful and professional. Our lakeview room was larger than expected, and beautifully decorated. The bed was firm, which for me is very comfortable. I would be happy to stay again.
One consideration: I'm not sure the lakeview room is worth the extra expense. The lake is some distance from the hotel with many buildings in between. Yes, the lake was visible: an opening between two high-rises, but it was only a fraction of the entire view out the windows (the windows were large and wide, which was nice)
The Pfister is a beautiful hotel, but our experience fell short of expectations. The lobby had a noticeable stale cigarette-smoke odor, which was unpleasant and surprising for a hotel of this caliber. Breakfast was not complimentary, and unfortunately, the meal we purchased was cold and lacked any flavor.
On checkout, the surprise charge $50+ for a valet that i didnt use as i arrived via lyft from airport
Overall, it was an average three-star experience, but improving the lobby’s air quality and breakfast service would make a significant difference.
This is such a beautiful hotel. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I thought the pricing was very reasonable for the level of service and luxury they provide. The food at the breakfast cafe is absolutely fantastic! The best pancakes I've ever had. Our server Najmd was wonderful. I definitely recommend you stay here!
The hotel is beautiful, and the staff is wonderful! Iris was so warm and welcoming when we checked in, and it truly started off our trip on the best foot.
The Pfister Hotel is a beautiful hotel with excellent amenities. The staff are all friendly and helpful. The champagne glass on arrival was a nice surprise. and our gorgeous room had a very comfortable bed. We’ll return to the restaurant for the food and amazing view of the lake. The hotel made a great weekend with friends even better.
From the minute we arrived until checkout, we were treated with kindness! Everyone went above and beyond and did it so graciously. The room was clean and very spacious. We enjoyed a great dinner at the restaurant in the hotel and a drink and the view at Blu on the 23rd floor. It was fun to tour such a beautiful old hotel. We also would like to thank Jack for helping us with our medical problem.
