Equus Inn Ocala

Great stay! Breakfast was delicious and rooms were very clean. Thank you for the baby/toddler chairs at breakfast!

I have hosted 3 college reunions in Ocala, FL and we have stayed at the Equus Inn for all 3 reunions. Beautiful rooms with different equestrian murals in each room. Very clean and a great value for my group of alumni. We have used the conference for our meet and greet that has been so convenient. My alumni have asked me to host another college reunion in 2027 and I know we will stay at the Equus Inn again.

Very nice hotel. Inviting center court with lots of places to sit and enjoy the serene scenery. Super friendly staff. Clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful outdoor space with a nice pool, grounds and a lovely shelter with fire pit and comfy seating. BUT they have made this shelter a smoking area, making it pretty much unavailable for the rest of us! And only covered outdoor space if it rains. And supposed to be a nonsmoking hotel! There are other designated smoking areas, so this does not seem at all appropriate. Otherwise very happy with our stay.

Very clean and that is always greatly appreciated. Room was very nice and also very clean. It was evident that the Air Conditioner, vents are cleaned regularly as the Air seemed very crisp and clean in the room. Great coffee. Will recommend and stay again, as I didn't have enough time to enjoy the pool area and fireplace.

Clean, modern rooms with comfortable beds.

Check in was quick and easy. The guy working the front desk was very nice. The room was clean and spacious. The beds were super comfortable. I like staying here when I visit Ocala.

Very friendly and attentive staff. Clean rooms and grounds, Comfortable beds and large rooms. A little street noise, but worth it because of the convenient location with lots of restaurants within walking distance or a few minute drive. We will stay here again next time we are in Ocala.

This gem is a great value. Huge, clean room with 2 queen beds and ample counter space for all my stuff. Enjoyed the outdoor cabana with fireplace. The larger fridge was great for my foodstuffs from the cooler. Barn door shower with rain head was nice, but water pressure was mediocre. I'll stay again and recommend this motel!

We had a wonderful stay at the Equus Inn and would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting the Ocala area. From the moment we arrived, Jose and Kim made us feel genuinely welcome. They were incredibly warm, hospitable, and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed.

What really stood out was how much they cared about helping us enjoy our time, not just at the hotel but in the area as well. They offered thoughtful suggestions on places to visit and things to do, which added so much to our experience. Their kindness and personal attention truly made our stay special.

The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the overall atmosphere was relaxed and inviting. It is clear that the staff takes pride in what they do.

We are very grateful to Jose and Kim for their hospitality, and we would gladly stay here again. Five stars all the way.

Nice remodel of an older hotel...clean and comfortable. Courtyard was beautiful with the fireplace and water feature. Only wish the pool was heated. Overall very accommodating and great staff. Would def stay again

The lobby was small but welcoming. Kim's friendliness, attention to detail and efficiency getting us checked into our room was just what we needed after a long day. It is tucked back near many restaurants and a lot of shopping and we felt very safe. The building could us some updates, but it is clean and well maintained. The room was a standard 2 bedroom motel room, but it had a beautiful equestrian mural on one wall. A small breakfast buffet was included (the ususal: eggs, sausage, waffles, cereal, etc.) which was nice. The pool is heated (a huge plus when in FL in February)! Cookie hour was a bit underwhelming, but who am I to argue with any type of free cookie? Overall, the things that are important to me (safety, cleanliness, helpful employees) exceeded my expectations. If I find myself back in the Ocala area, I would definitely stay there again!

The room was good, comfortable, and clean, BUT the breakfast was less than desireable. We have stayed here in the past and the breakfast was decent but it has definitely changed for the worse .

Rooms very clean, quite and comfortable. I do disagree with calling yourself dog friendly then charging an extra 50% up charge for the pet. I Room was 69 and pet 35. What does 35 dollars cover in room recovery? J7st cause you accept pets doesnt necessarily equal friendly

Convenient location and excellent lodging! Everything was extremely clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great!
