Equus Inn Ocala

Everything was excellent!! my daughter and I traveled to Ocala to visit my elderly father. I felt very safe staying here. It was exceptionally clean, pool was pristine, staff was amazing, it’s an older motel that has been renovated and they’ve done an excellent job. Atmosphere was very relaxing and peaceful. And most importantly, the bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in, in a long time!! You won’t be disappointed with this choice

I have been to this property about 4 times. It is always lovely. Staff is kind and helpful. Property is clean. Being an equestrian I love the horses everywhere. I broke my ankle and was using a knee scooter to get around. They kindly put me in a handicap room which was large and spacious. I was just confused that they did not have a handicap shower only a tub. They did have a lot of grab bars in the tub and I was able to shower. I do love the beer and wine on tap:)

Our room was very modern and clean. We enjoyed the equestrian theme throughout the hotel. Evening cookies were offered in the lobby which was a treat. The breakfast could use improvement but was adequate, nothing special though. We enjoyed the courtyard with the pool, outdoor fireplace and waterfall. It was very cozy and lots of the guests were outside enjoying it with us. I would recommend this hotel to others.

Great location. Room was very clean, but I wish the beds weren't so tall. It is very difficult for my husband to get into bed due to his disability. I wish you would consider changing some of the rooms and putting a lower bed in - especially in the rooms that are handicap-accessible with a walk-in shower. We always ask for a room with a walk-in shower as my husband has mobility issues and can't step into a tub very easily, so getting into the bed is close to impossible.

2nd stay and everything was great! In town with my daughter and friends who also stayed. Clean room and helpful staff. Safe and enjoyable stay!

Everything was great. There was an issue with the internet but I never complained. The hotel took it upon themselves to comp one nights stay for the inconvenience. That was extremely nice of them. Everything was nice and clean.

Easy to find hotel. Room looked like it had been updated. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Check in and out was quick. One draw back if you need an elevator, there aren’t any. Prices are very reasonable.

Great location, 14min from Silver Springs Park, and 12min from Downtown. Free parking, quiet, clean and confortable hotel. Affordable. Breakfast included. Something to improve is water pressure in shower.

Dana was the best hotel attendant both sides of the Mississippi!! My needs were always met and the server in the morning was constantly assuring that the areas of food and tables were kept clean. The maintenance staff was seen on the property everyday cleaning and keeping the parking lot clear of debris. The rooms were up to date and spotless.

This place isn’t just the best bang for your buck, it’s truly the best option for any stay at a hotel.

Having nice amenities in a quiet room at a convenient location was just what we were looking for! The staff was friendly and the whole place is clean and tidy!

We had booked as a group for a surprise 95th birthday party, from the booking process to the week of our stay we received exceptional service and from management to each worker we encountered we had nothing but the best service. The location was convenient to many restaurants, and the town of Ocala was very easy to get around in. I would stay there again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

The hotel itself was lovely. Very clean, welcoming and the staff were great. It was a good location. Breakfast was nice. It's unfortunate that many of the other hotel guests were boisterous and not considerate of others very late into the night. There also seemed to be drag racing of loud motorcycles or vehicles on the street out front.

The staff was extremely helpful when I needed extra blankets. The room was newly renovated and super clean! It was a great stay! Breakfast was also really nice!

Comfortable, pleasant. We enjoyed being able to take a dip in the pool before getting ready for dinner. Lots of restaurant options nearby.

Very clean and comfortable rooms, recently renovated. Location is close to I-75 and near a variety of restaurants. Updated bathroom was nice with a rainfall shower head, but the water pressure was extremely poor. Nice pool area with comfortable lounge chairs. Breakfast could use some improvement - it included some sort of soupy hash brown casserole, bananas that were well past their prime. Also, received a wake up call at 6:00am that I never scheduled. But overall, a decent value for the price…

Easy location to get to off 75. All the amenities and a nice courtyard to hang out at with a pool and fireplace. Restaurants are within walking distance. Staff was very friendly and happy to accommodate our dog.

Was pretty disappointed in my stay… I didn’t realize and was not informed at check in that you need to request house keeping for the room. I was staying 7 days and requested it on night 3 and it still took them two more days to actually come and clean the room. There were ants in the bathroom and also the toilet wouldn’t flush correctly… my room was overlooking the courtyard and it was extremely loud at night with people and children in the pool. I will definitely never stay at this hotel again.
