Staff was wonderful!
I loved the location and how friendly the staff were. Everything was in walking distance, and any issue I had was taken care of. I even received complimentary breakfast for my husband and I, after being dissatisfied.
The second day, our room’s key sensor turned solid red and we couldn’t get into our room. Security didn’t make it up to fix it until after we returned from walking the city 4 hours later. Once we finally got in, I saw a mouse run across the floor and I requested that our room be changed. They moved us to another room, and it still wasn’t that clean. I also understand that the hotel is pet friendly, but there should be no reason for one of the elevator floors to be dirty from the same urine/poop for more than 24 hours.

Location was great to the downtown area.
I thought the parking was high and our car was unavailable while we were there.
The location was great for our activities & we chose it because of its proximity to the Street Car line. It’s also within walking distance of several great NOLA restaurants, Mulate’s for Zydeco music & Mother’s for breakfast.
We had another guest enter our room at about 8:15pm because of a mixup in our check-in & the management had a very cavalier response. Then we discover the next morning that there was no “spare” roll of toilet tissue & after requesting one be delivered & waiting 30 minutes, were told housekeeping didn’t come in until 8:30am & no one was available to deliver but we could go to the front desk to get a roll. Not exactly good customer service. Then, when we did go to the lobby, 3 bellmen were standing there talking; in a well managed hotel, the need to provide a basic necessity for guests would be prioritized. We also discovered one of the drawers in the furniture was broken & fell out when opened & the smell of cigarette smoke in the bathroom made it impossible to shower - it was apparently coming in through the vent.
I honestly felt like Booking & other second party reservation guests were not prioritized as several times I was told “oh, you reserved through Booking” even though I am a Hilton Honors member.
