Trieste ist immer eine Reise wert.
Pros:

Savoia Excelsior Palace ist ein Hotel der Extraklasse. Die Lage direkt am Hafen ist perfekt und in unmittelbarer Nähe vieler Sehenswürdigkeiten.
Auch die Zufahrt per Auto ist problemlos.
In diesem Hotel fühlt man sich einfach wohl.

Don't get caught on the back end of this hotel!
Pros:

Breakfast was great and the hotel location is perfect for those going on a cruise. The Concierge was very helpful and was able to set up dinners on each of the nights we stayed.

Cons:

Well...I had asked for a balcony room, and I was issued one...On the back side of the building. No view. Furthermore, if you are issued any room on the back side of the hotel be careful! What the hotel doesn't tell you is that there is a bar at the base of the hotel right on the street. What they don't tell you is that the bar patrons spill out of the bar after 2am and party on the sidewalk. Between the chanting, singing and loud "cat" calls, sleep was impossible!

Un séjour absolument magnifique au Savoia Excelsior ! Nous avions réservé une chambre Deluxe vue mer et avons eu la très agréable surprise de bénéficier d’une superbe suite junior au même tarif. Un immense merci à l’hôtel pour cette délicate attention !
L’établissement est splendide, d’une propreté irréprochable, avec un personnel particulièrement accueillant et serviable. La suite était magnifique, le petit-déjeuner parfait et l’emplacement idéal pour découvrir Trieste à pied. Une adresse pleine de charme que nous recommandons sans la moindre hésitation. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir !

Excellent location and helpful staff.
Pros:

The hotel staff were excellent and did their best to get the wifi to work for our I-pads, but to no avail. This was a bit of a problem.
The breakfast was good and the location perfect.

De tudo; do conforto, localização, limpeza, alto padrão da estrutura, e simpatia dos recepcionistas.

Cons:

Café da manhã tem muita variedade mas pouca qualidade. O ovo mexido não dava para comer, uma meleca cheio de leite. Pão padrão de mercado não tinha um pão digno da Itália. Frutas sem qualidade. Etc.
Um mensageiro, aquele com mais idade, muito entupido e grosseiro; quando trouxeram o meu carro do estacionamento e deixaram em frente o hotel, avisei pra ele que eu iria demorar uns 10 minutos para sair ele veio com grosseria e estupidez!, este funcionário não combina com o hotel e demais funcionários, está distoando de tudo!
