Hotel Patan House

The location near the centre of Patan is great. It is also in a inner courtyard, so very quiet. Close to a bank and several shops, also very good restaurants in the area.

This beautiful boutique hotel offers traditional Newari charm in the heart of Lalipur, just a short walk to Patan Darbar Square. The reception staff were friendly and super helpful and the room just full of character. Loved it.
Breakfast is served offsite with a limited selection but does the job. Characterful, welcoming and convenient. I would happily stay here again.

This is a very small boutique hotel a few minutes walk away from the historic Patan Durbar Square. Steve, the front desk person made sure that my stay and experience at the hotel and Nepal in general was exceptional. Examples include, assisting in getting transportation out of Kathmandu and answering lots of questions.

It’s located really in the historical heart of Patan, a 2 min walk to Durbar Square. Breakfast served in a close location was amazingly tasty. Staff is great, super willing to support and assist.

The service was excellent. They staff was kind and helpful. And also the exotic architecture was amazing !

This was hands down my favourite place of this trip I am on. It was a little pricier than guesthouses I usually stay in, but what a treat. Beautiful apartment in a lovely location. I did not want to leave. Much attention to detail: Nice furniture, complimentary Diet Coke. Breakfast also excellent and generous portion.

スタッフがとても親切でした。立地もバルダール広場まで徒歩３分、ゴールデンテンプルまで徒歩30秒程で最高でした。
なにより、部屋はもちろん、バスルームが大変広く、シャワー室もしっかりガラスで仕切られているので、便器が濡れてしまうようなことはありません。快適でした。
階段が少し急ではありますが、荷物はスタッフが運んでくれました。部屋は日差しが入らないようにしているせいか、電気をつけても少し暗いですが、１日中ホテルにいなければほとんど気になりません。また泊まりたいです！！

The hotel is a beautiful place to stay, its traditional Newari architecture and interior design coupled with the friendly and helpful staff make it my favourite hotel in Kathmandu. Its location is also ideal for anyone wanting to escape the noise of Thamel and to get access to the culture and tradition of Patan.

Excellent location, so central yet set back from the street, such a quiet place.
The bed and pillows were so comfy; a large bathroom with space to lay things out.
At first we thought breakfast at a different property would be a problem, in fact the breakfast was excellent, led us to have a wonderful evening meal there too. Also, it was good to see Patan earlier in the day, beautiful light too!

The location is perfect.

Small guest house in a traditional Newar house with four large rooms (one on each floor) and small reception area on the ground floor. Situated in a quiet courtyard very close to Durbar square. My room was big, clean and comfortable with nice bathroom and everything I needed. Staff was helpful and polite and they stored my suitcase while I was on a trek. Very good breakfast was provided in a nearby cafe that was very nice.

Hotel Patan House is in a great location, just around the corner from Darbar Square but in a quiet lane. I booked the studio apartment and it was a very cute setup at the top of an old Newari house. The apartment had two little balconies that looked out onto the courtyard. The kitchenette was spacious enough to make my own little meals when I wanted to. The staff were amazingly helpful and went the extra mile to make sure I felt safe and comfortable. Generous breakfasts.

Everything was perfect ! The staff was so kind, the room was so beautiful, with a very nice bathroom, hot water.
the breakfast is not in the hotel but just 3min walking away.
the localisation is very central in Patan. you can easily take a taxi to go in other Katmandu’s areas of interest.
