Fantastisches altes Gebäude mit vorgelagertem Park, modern und zweckmäßig ausgestattet. Großes Zimmer / großer Balkon. Wunderschöne Pool Area.

I would agree with others that the hotel is lovely. A historic gem with nice rooms and professional service. It’s worth paying extra for the category of rooms that give access to the top floor pool and bar. Two negative points: the ground floor bar service is slow and erratic, it also doesn’t have the ambience that reflects the quality of the hotel. Also, it’s hard to get into the restaurant without a reservation well in advance. Most importantly, the location is not good for the shops or old town. They are a good 25 minute walk away and there are no nice local bars so you can be quite isolated. It’s more of a business hotel I think.

Customers were complaining a great and and people were joking at how bad the staff were.
Too slow taking the orders, fulfilling the orders and the staff never checked in to see if their customers were ok.
No fue buena experiencia
Didnt have breakfast but came on the bill at the end. It was ammended. I liked the quietness. The central heating and the big walk in shower. Beautiful surrounding. Staff very helpfull.

insonorisation de la chambre pas très efficace. On entendait les gens hurler dans le jardin et les voisins du dessus bouger les meubles tôt le matin. Parking payant alors que cela devrait être compris dans le prix car il n'y a que peu de possibilités de se parquer à l'exterieur de l'établissement.
L'emplacement
Chambre petite avec une salle de bains donnant sur la chambre sans porte. Huisseries de la porte donnant sur la terrasse extérieure fermant tres mal. Rideaux en partie déchirés. impossible de réserver une table ni pour déjeuner ni pour diner car les 3 restaurants ne sont pas réservés en priorité pour les clients de l'hôtel et donc étaient pleins meme chose pour le bar!
This is an extremely elegant and beautiful hotel in a central location between the old town and the shopping district. The staff are very well turned out, helpful and courteous. The pool and garden areas are well maintained and the rooms are comfortable and well serviced (although not particularly large). There are bus stops directly in front of the hotel making it easy to get around. Breakfasts were of a highlight and probably the best we've experienced in Europe. The quality, freshness and variety on offer was first class. That said, the service at breakfast could be erratic e.g. repeatedly having to ask for coffee or cutlery. Our only other gripe was that the AC in our room repeatedly broke down... Will definitely return to Santa Catalina.
My wife and myself stayed here for 6 nights to get away from the rain in Britain.
I have absolutely no negative points to make, the stay was perfect. We stayed in a Junior Suite, it was beautiful.
I strongly recommend the Jazz Sunday Brunch, well worth the cost!!
I've noted a few reviews below regarding staff being grumpy and unwelcoming. This couldn't be further from our experience. We found them highly professional. Attentive without being over fussy and a pleasure to have experienced their generous cordiale.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, das Frühstück sensationell, der Spabereich sehr ansprechend und die Tiefgarage fabelhaft
Ich hatte ein Superior Zimmer gebucht und bei Ankunft führte man mich in ein Zimmer mit Ausblick auf ein Flachdach auf denen Klimaanlagen standen. Erst als ich mich bei der Rezeption beschwerte, teilte man mir ein anderes Zimmer zu. Es war sehr klein, hatte jedoch eine große Terrasse. Leider war der Sonnenschirm voller Vogelkot.
Im Badezimmer befand sich deutlicher Schimmelpilz, der Fernseher funktionierte nicht und man bekommt nur eine Flasche Wasser am Tag der Ankunft.
Der Bademantel würde bei mir ganz schnell in den Kleidercontainer Wandern.
Was hat das alles mit fünf Sternen und der Beschreibung "fabelhaft" zu tun?
Winter break looking for sun and great food. Tried Muxgo this time. Was not disappointed! Location in the park makes it!
