Well designed space, spacious, good mattresses
Right next to train which caused sound and vibration while sleeping. Not enough trash cans (none in any of the bedrooms), and several outlets were not working.
We were in town for a family wedding so we booked a two-bedroom and another suite to accommodate everyone. The location worked great for the Friday night pre-wedding event and the wedding the next day.
Well, can't help that el-train noise.

Great stay in a great hotel in a very cool and funky location. Hotel room well equipped and nicely furnished. Bed comfy. Interaction with staff was responsive and helpful. Really great start to our hols
The room was attractively decorated and inviting. Netflix didn't work. They looked at tv but couldn't figure out how to connect it to wifi. Said may have to replace, but not during our stay. The mattress was one of the worst in recent memory. Everything rolled to the middle of the bed. Coffee was good tho creamer made clumps.
Hidden gem.
We had a really nice stay at this boutique hotel in the heart of Fishtown, Philadelphia. The location is very convenient, just a short 3-minute walk to restaurants and bars, with parking available right across the street.
The room was industrial modern, clean, spacious, and comfortable, with high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows that brought in plenty of natural light. It featured a large open kitchen and living area, a high-end entertainment system, and a large shower. There was also plenty of closet space.
The room included useful extras like robes, sleeping masks, ear plugs, and makeup removal towels. There is also a courtyard garden in the back with a table for eating outside.
The hosts were easy to reach and helpful. Check-in and check-out were quick, and the instructions were clear. We had a very enjoyable stay and have already bookmarked this place as a top choice for future visits. We highly recommend it.
The property is super clean super easy to find super easy to access! We had a wonderful day. The unit is very spacious as well! 05 stars across the board except one issue they say the rooms are soundproof, but the train was right next to our windows and it is super super loud!! Other than that great stay!

We recently stayed at the Lokal for a work related trip. I loved everything about this hotel. Having a mini apartment with a kitchen was wonderful as opposed to a more traditional hotel room set up. The room was thoughtfully designed with everything we needed, and very clean. The owner is wonderful and very responsive. We couldn't have chosen a better location, many amazing restaurants and cafes were in short walking distance. We will absolutely be staying at the Lokal again and recommending it to any friends going to Philly.
