We celebrated our daughter’s first birthday at the DoubleTree by Hilton Chicago Wood Dale–Elk Grove, and everything was amazing! The event space was beautiful, the staff was friendly and attentive, and the food was excellent.

Our family also stayed at the hotel and loved the clean, comfortable rooms. Thank you to the entire team for making our celebration so special. We highly recommend this hotel for events and family gatherings!

The Perfect Place for a Special Celebration
Pros:

We had an amazing experience celebrating my birthday at this hotel. My daughter rented one of their event rooms, and everything was perfectly organized from beginning to end. The Sales Manager was incredibly attentive and made sure every detail was taken care of, which made our celebration stress-free and truly special.

The hotel also has a breathtaking view that made the event even more memorable. We absolutely loved celebrating in such a beautiful place and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful venue for a special occasion. Thank you for making my birthday unforgettable!

There was a pool

Cons:

It was freezing cold throughout the entire place. We could t even sit in the lobby to eat breakfast. The “breakfast buffet” was $20 per person and consisted of what would be a free breakfast at most other hotels. The restaurant was closed so we had very limited dinner options.

Not a DoubeTree
Pros:

Where to start. This is a DoubleTree. What do you except- full service hotel with restaurant and bar. This falls far short of this. I had hoped to do some grant application writing while at the hotel not having to go for dinner etc. Arrived at 10 pm from SFO no where to eat. Breakfast - beware $20! - was not the standard for a doubletree by a long way. I’m diamond with Hilton I don’t understand in the US why they insist on this beverage allowance- instead of giving a free breakfast. The beverage allowance wouldn’t have even covered this very poor breakfast. This should not be classed as a doubletree so buyers beware. Room was okay. Would I stay here again - no.
