The beds were very comfy with very fresh smelling sheets. Great HDTV. Breakfast was good.
I asked for conditioner the first day after showering and finding the container empty. They said they could fill it tomorrow or send up small bottles tonight. Wife said fill tomorrow during room cleaning, as we just finished showering. All dispensers were still empty the next day. These dispensers hold enough for a couple weeks. THEY ARE NOT EVER GETTING FILLED, OR THEY WOULDN'T ALL BE EMPTY!
Breakfast
The pool was closed. The place was under construction and smelled like chemicals ( paint and thinners/etc). I have asthma. They put me on the 2nd floor. They didn't have a bed for my teenager in my room just a chair.
Location, close to highway
Updates are being done, meanwhile ??
No in room coffee
Nothing. If I could give this place negative 8000 stars, I would. Wait..the location was ok.
Poorly maintained, wrinkled bed upon arrival. Valance hanging, curtains disheveled, dripping tub faucet, tv not functional, stained chair, torn window screen, and a potentially dangerous electrical situation in the bathroom
We had gotten reservations for ISU graduation for our son and grandson. They said the property was in such bad condition ( holes in the walls for starters!) that they refused to spend the night there. They demanded a refund, but that has not been forthcoming.
There was dried pee all over my toilet seat upon arriving. My shower was also clogged. The pool/fitness center is under construction and the hotel must be too because there is stuff all over the hallways and pallets in the parking lot. The breakfast is extremely sad. Things like bagels and eggos are in plastic baggies which are concerning.
Staff was super friendly and accomdating
It was a lil run down
Owner was awesome and so was staff
Room cool
Room was clean, price was good
Bed was not great, bathroom was cramped, heard someone say something about bugs but we did not see any. Hotel is being renovated.
Location
No elevator, no vending second floor, old furniture in room
Friendly clean
Location was great. Room was clean but a bit musty smelling.
Room smelled musty, but at least it didn't smell like air freshener
It was in a convenient place to stay for a football game at a fair price. Bed was comfortable and shower had good pressure.
The breakfast was a little weak but did a fair job. You weren’t left hungry but there could be a few more items like bagels or eggs like other hotels in the area. Pool was closed.
Location was great right off of 35 and 30. Lobby was decent. Breakfast is what you expect from this price point hotel.
Pool was not open or operational. It had sheets across the windows and hand written sign on the door that said pool no work. Parking lot was getting recoated and crack sealed with vehicles in the lot so vehicles had blacktop sealer on them and anyone who walked through the parking lot got tar on their shoes/in their vehicles. Another guest and the front desk employee were yelling at each other about the parking/damage to their car but the front desk employee refused to provide the guest with a manager or owners contact info, all of this in front of my 7 and 3 year old sons who were eating breakfast.
