Close to Long Beach airport
I really liked that there was front and back parking. The hotel was close to shopping centers. I like that there was employees outside that would help you unload or load your car.
There was a party going on so by the time I got there there was no parking in the front. I drove around the front parking lot for about 30 minutes to be able to park. Then when I found a parking spot I literally had to squeeze into the spot reversing. After I parked my car it was hard to get out because of the 2 cars on the side of me. After I checked into the hotel and got my stuff out of my car I moved my car to the back parking lot.

This was not our first time staying at this property, but it will most likely be our last. Upon check in there always seems to be a front desk associate in training (which speaks to a lack of employee retention), and often this leads to a host of problems. Lord help you if you have a question that you need correctly answered. The rest of the staff are very friendly and welcoming, but unfortunately the check in agent sets the tone for the entire stay.
The M Club has canned soft drinks and water available, but the cans are not refrigerated (like every other M Club I have ever used), yet there was no ice available. Having to trek across the lobby with our luggage in tow to go ask the bartender at the lobby bar for cups of ice defeats the purpose of having Marriott status high enough to obtain M Club privileges.
Please read this next section carefully if you are a Marriott Bonvoy Platinum member or above...I am going to go back and check my records, but on at least my last two stays I was asked if I would like the 1,000 elite bonus points or a $10 amenity credit upon check in. Given that I have M Club access, I always choose the 1,000 Bonvoy points. On both stays I stated that I wanted the points, which, according to Justin, a front desk manager, should have been credited immediately, and both times I did not receive them. It has taken FOUR phone calls to both Marriott and Long Beach Marriott, yet still I have only received the 1,000 point bonus for ONE of the stays. This is beyond frustrating, but now it is a matter of principle, particularly because I seriously doubt that this has happened exclusively to me. If you stay here, I implore you to check your Bonvoy points balance both prior to and after check in is complete via the Bonvoy app, but prior to check out to make sure you get your elite bonus points. It is much, much more difficult to correct this error after check out. Given that this hotel chooses to waste my time with this points nonsense, I will no longer waste my dollars with them.
My refrigerator wouldn’t get cold, had to call the front desk about this issue.
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this venue which was minutes from LGB, professional and attentive staff (from check in, the concierge staff, the restaurant staff to our room service), and looked like newly renovated and comfortable rooms with a cool view of the LGB airport.
All around great time had by us staying at this conveneient hotel. The room as stated earlier was stellar, the outdoor pool was fun and comfortable and the food here was scrumptious!
Shout out to: Katherine, Ivan, Justin, Citlali, Juan, Aleena, Elizabeth and the front desk gentleman that I mistook for Ivan, the concierge ladies and doorman I didn’t get a chance to catch their names they were so busy to stop and ask.
To the GM Imran, you hired many professional and friendly staff all around this hotel, well done and hire more personnel like them!

The staff went out of their way to be very helpful to the 60+ team members whom I attended a weeklong meeting with at this property. I really enjoyed my last morning, up at 5:45 waiting for my airport pick up and Edward at the front desk, went out of his way to get me a coffee and brought me back a delicious latte which I really appreciated at that hour in the morning. Clean property, great location.
