Pros:

I liked the location, the room and bathroom were nice and spacious with excellent bed and amenities, including a bathrobe and slippers, kettle with some teas and bottle of water each day. The balcony is also lovely. Breakfast was excellent- plentiful and varied, both warm and cold choices.

Cons:

The room temperature was an issue for me, it was around 20-21 degrees and it felt cold. When I tried using the air-conditioning to 24, I noticed that they disabled it the next day, so it didn't work anymore. Luckily they offer extra blanket in the room, so used that and slept fine. There was a violet scented room perfume which was so strong but I put it outside on the lovely balcony and that solved the issue. The decor didn't bother me but if you are after historical fittings and charm, this is not the place.

Pros:

Hotel in pieno centro, a due passi dalla Stazione di Porta Nuova per chi viaggia in treno, con disponibilità di parcheggio su prenotazione e a pagamento per chi viaggia in auto/moto (25/30€ a notte ma ne vale la pena onde evitare multe per divieti di sosta o ingressi improvvisati in ZTL). La nostra stanza era una matrimoniale, veramente ampia e con tutti i comfort (compresi biancheria e set bagno - anche accappatoio e ciabattine - frigo bar e bollitore con ampia scelta di te e tisane), degni di lode materasso cuscini e piumino mezza stagione (ho dormito una favola). Il personale ha un'educazione ed una preparazione ormai rara nonché disponibilità davvero degna di un 4 stelle. La colazione è eccellente e confermo nessuna difficoltà nel trovare alternative per tutte le intolleranze e regimi alimentari senza intaccare una qualità e quantità veramente alta.

Cons:

La pulizia poteva essere un po' più precisa, in doccia ho trovato capelli lunghi abbandonati a sé stessi ed una lente a contatto colorata (stanza 232). Il mio giudizio è comunque alto in quanto immagino che gestire una struttura così impegnativa non sia semplice

Weekend a Tornio, hotel bellissimo
Pros:

Hotel situato in pieno centro e a due passi dalla stazione di Porta Nuova.
La struttura è molto bella ed è tenuta molto bene. Le stanze sono spaziose, il bagno ampio e i letti comodi.
La nostra camera aveva la finestra sul cortile interno, quindi molto silenziosa
Il buffet della colazione è molto fornito sia dolce sia salato. Inoltre ci sono fette biscottate e biscotti senza glutine
