ROACHES ROACHES ROACHES! I saw one on the AC unit and assumed it came in from around the unit from the outside. Understandable since we're in SC. My wife then saw more in the bathroom, and I saw a few more on the clothes rack. We got food from Waffle House at 2am. Went to bed, and brought our leftovers home. To our surprise when my daughter opened the food container at HOME a friggin ROACH strolls right out. DISGUSTING! GET AN EXTERMINATOR IN THERE AND CLEAN YOUR DANG HOTEL. We paid almost $200 to bring roaches home. We checked our luggage the best we could, and just pray we didn't bring anything else home.
Close to airport
The room had a musty smell. I had to kill a roach in the bathroom. It did not feel clean - dirt on carpet. The remote was missing the back cover making hard to use. The phones volume did not work when I called the front desk. The WiFi was off and on constantly. It says they are open 24 hours in ad, yet in the early morning I went to get coffee and the staff had door locked and said through window closed from 2-6am. My keys would not work the second day when I returned- they needed rekeyed at front desk. I was told to send a email to manager and the hotel manager told me to reach out to booking.com to be refunded for the second night stay as I left and could not stay another night.
It was near everywhere I need to go at
I had to complain about my phone was not working in the room. The remote control didn’t work for the TV. The door was off the hinges.
I left immediately
This hotel does not have a slide or chain lock to keep your door locked. I immediately noticed this and went to the front desk. The desk agent told me the rooms don’t have that but the people who might try to come into my room were all on vacation. I asked for my money back and left. I had to stop payment on my card because management and booking.com never responded to my request to have my money returned. This hotel is unsafe and they don’t care at all. Don’t go. I’ve had a lot of great experiences at Best Western but this is one to stay away from.
There was no hot water at all. We were not able to take a shower. We let the front desk know two times and upon checkout.

The front desk guy was nice and that was about it.
The room was very dirty and there was liquid on the night table. The bathroom has mold in the corner and the non smoking room smelled like cigarette smoke without being properly decontaminated. We actually checked out within 30 min of checking in and went ahead to book another hotel.
They are working to complete the renovation of the property!
