The workplace place to stay at Myrtle Beach

Cons:

Over priced then was charged a clean up fee that i felt should have been already included for the room I didn't feel welcome television did no work the whole time we stayed had to find a park else where when I left to go out because parking was limited not enough parking for everyone to have.This was the worst room ever!

Nothing at all!!! This is actually my first time ever leaving a hotel review and I now see why it’s important and how it can help. This is the WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE IVE EVER HAD!!

Cons:

They have it listed as oceanfront and sea view. It even shows up when you apply the filter for hotels that are ONLY beachfront with a sea view. Paid $1k for what I thought was oceanfront. It’s a block away. At check in they tell me that there is a $104 “RESORT” fee. A resort hotel is a hotel with extra amenities like multiple pools, lazy rivers, jacuzzi, fitness, abundant parking, elevators, breakfast/dining, etc. This MOTEL has one pool that is about 10ftx20ft 4ft deep and that’s it. You can “see” the sea, but from across the street and that’s if you’re on the 4th or third floor and you are out on the shared balcony that leads to every other room on that floor. The “sea view” room the gave me was literally the same temperature as it was outside when I opened the door. AC was off. Buttons would not light up unplugged it and plugged it back in lights came on turned it on and blew nothing but hot air. After a 5 hour drive I had to walk back down 4flights of stairs to tell this guy the ac is broke the room isn’t as advertised and I’m not happy, I want just want a refund and I’ll go elsewhere. Of course I know that the hotel cant actually refund your money, but they can log into their portal and let them know that they are going to reverse the cancellation fee and to issue you a refund. But, the guys at the front desk lied and gave me the “our hands are tied “ excuse. They then proceeded to send a guy up to the room and look at the AC only for him to come back and tell the other guy ”you might want to go look at it”. I walked up there with him and he unplugged it and plugged it back in and said now it’s working see it’s getting cold. It definitely was NOT and was still blowing the same hot air. Bottom line these guys were real shystie! I’ve never had a WORSE experience at a hotel. I ended up having to call booking customer service at midnight and filing the complaint and a request for refund. Booked a REAL “RESORT HOTEL” about 10 blocks down called “The VoCo...

Pros:

All of the staff were very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating! Room was clean. Really loved the garden in the courtyard area. Pool was perfect, even had some floats and toys for the kids to play with. I was treated like a person and not just a number. The ice cream in the cute little shop was a bit expensive but still cool that it was available with many choices.

Pros:

The staff was phenomenal. Rooms were clean, updated and beautifully tiled (marble/granite?) Walk-in shower. The hotel is small, with an incredibly "homey" feel - this is not your oceanview corporate monstrosity on the beach. It was perfect for my husband and I, and there were many families with children as well. The pool was crystal clear and the grounds were very pretty.

Pros:

I was charge extra for cleaning fee after I show him my repcite that I already had paid the 40$ of cleaning fee and he went on and took money from my card for cleaning fee

Cons:

Stuff rude. Thrrew my debit card in my face
They are rude and I wouldn't recommended this place to nobody worst.
