AVIA Residences on Savoy- Extended Stay

Was not accommodated after a 3 month reservation, property said they were renovating and sent out an email to Hotels.com. Totally unacceptable I won’t lie about my experience so don’t worry about it I WONT make review

You deceive the customers into thinking that it is a hotel. Nowadays, most of the rooms are rented long-term, there are no hotel services and the photos you post are a lie. There is no lobby. There are no outdoor areas active. The pool is not active. In the laundry room two machines take money but don't work but the lady at the reception, who identified herself as "Brittany the manager" "didn't know about it" and "it's not her responsibility". The door in our room did not lock, there is no soap in the room itself, there are no towels in the kitchen, there are not even two glasses for water. only one. When we wanted to check out, at 09:30, the reception was closed, the phone number left on the door was not connected. We had to leave the key in the room not knowing if it was picked up by the "hotel"
Shame on you for selling this complex as if it were a hotel. Its a lie.
We expect to receive substantial compensation for this order.

Stayed here previously when it was Sonesta and it was fine. New owners under brand name Avia have really cut back on amenities and service. Office is open only a few hours each day. If you have to leave before 9AM and return after 5PM you are out of luck. One small bar of soap, one roll of toilet paper, no hangers in the closet, one skimpy set of towels for two people staying for 8 days. Must have been a private equity deal. Not coming back.

My reservation was lost, luckily I was still able to get the type of room I requested. The furniture and carpet was dirty. There was no paper towels, cleaning supplies,
Or garbage can.

Great stay! We use this location on multiple occasions.

Its wasnt really the stay i imagine. It was not up to my liking but its durable for acouple of days.

Heater was not working properly, water was not hot enough in the shower and most importantly poor wifi for my business stay.

My stay at there was excellent

Nothing similar to the pictures, the hotel staff are very rude, no housekeeping service , no breakfast for many days ,also they charge additional fee for the parking area, no reimbursement or discount for this inconvenients, they only reply “sorry for the inconvenients “ honestetly a want my money back, I feel like someone stool my money. Be aware for this property is an extended stay hotel.

There were strobe lights going off in my room from the time I checked in until the time I got back from a wedding. I was unable to get a hold

I liked the fire place , the upstairs downstairs features. But the furniture needs to be replaced and my u it it was broken chairs and foot stool. I saw cockroaches so I left early. The property use to be amazing . I would stay here twice a year but this year it was awful it feels and look like an extended stay where people are roaming around smoking marijuana and unkept.

Our room didn’t have a remote and the toilet was clogged the entire time.

The most disgusting place i ever stayed at. This place needs to be demolished. People screaming at 2 in the morning, sketchy people sitting in the parking lot observing everything. We asked for a blow dryer three times nobody brought it, we had to go pick it up ourselves and wait for them to go get from another room. The room is so gross, stains on the carpet, walls, bedding everything is outdated. The pictures that are on expedia are probably when the place first open, now its just a dump. Do not go here!!

Had to call 4 separate times to request an ironing board (that should’ve been in the room). Waited many hours each time. They said they would send a housekeeper but never did. Asked for towels, and was made to leave my room and walk to the lobby in another building, take my dirty towels before giving me any replacement towels.

I spent my entire stay with a bathroom that doesn’t flush, after I was place in a room where I walked over dog poop to get in, the smell of marijuana was overwhelming within seconds I ended up with a migraine. They charged me parking after I was told if I don’t park overnight it will be free of charge. Canceling my following stay is now a problem to reimburse…

Very well kept

Saw several roaches by the refrigerator & the dishwasher. The sheets & the comforter had big burn holes on them. One of the doors inside of the room had a big hole in it. I would not stay here again.

It was absolutely horrible the heat had to be turned on for hot water. The hotel takes 250 for a deposit for a 5 day stay. It’s a community that people live in and the staff in the morning was non communicative.

Morning front desk staff was horrorable service.
Breakfast time was still sleeping in Office and she hated to give breakfast , 3 days in the row said was not available all gone because her sleep was interrupted.
All hotels give breakfast 3-4 hours in the morning. Within one hours all breakfast was gone?
If you dont like your job and dont like to deal with people in customer services, please get another one.
On the otherhand I was charged over $500 - more in addition to parking and my invoice $650 was paid prior to my 4 nights stay.
I will fight for the extra charges and refund
