This hotel is conveniently located near the beautiful beach areas of Redondo and Manhattan Beach. The parking was inside the gates. There are many good places to eat within a mile or two. Our room was clean and free of odor. The bathroom was small but clean and had all the amenities. The queen-size bed was comfortable. The kitchen area was furnished with the needed utensils. The AC unit was outside and near the window but was noisy at times. The place was fairly quiet. The breakfast was wonderful. Many fresh and hot foods such as scrambled eggs, sausage, crispy hash browns, and soft pancakes.

The reason for not giving a five rating was for the misleading service and the advertised parking fee. At the check-in time, the female clerk gave us two small water bottles. She did not say it was free or that there was a charge for it. When I received the final receipt via email, I noticed that I was charged six dollars for the water. The second thing was the parking fee. The hotel website mentioned $25 for parking. However, at the check-in counter, the sign said $27.50. Other than these two issues, our stay was good.

I have been a long time user of Marriott properties (Bonvoy member) when in need of a hotel, and this Residence Inn location is as reasonable in comfort and cleanliness to what I have come to expect, however; they do have a breakfast that was better than most.
With that said, this note is specifically for a front desk operative named Enzo Torres. For a variety of reasons I had been a handful for Mr. Torres, and what I got in exchange was a smile, and an extra effort to insure my wife and I were happy. This man is a credit to the Marriott family, and is without a doubt the primary reason why I will always choose this RI location anytime I am in the Torrance area.

Fantastic staff, all so lovely and helpful. Hotel very clean in a wonderful location, very near to the fabulous shopping mall and about 15 minutes to the beautiful Redondo Beach. Would definitely return! One criticism would be a lack of coffee machine in reception, it would be nice to have coffee in the seating area after a busy day shopping!.

Very relaxing and calming place. Staff was top notch. Very helpful and accommodating.

Staff was great except when I checked in I was asked if a double queen room was ok. I said I don’t want a double bed I need a queen for me and my husband. The front desk assured me it was 2 queen beds so I said ok. After unloading our truck of all our stuff upstairs we realized it was not queen beds they were full size! They were also not comfortable at all. Big disappointment

I love everything about this place. There is no hotel chain i prefer over Marriott! Perfect location Walmart, mall, food, everything u can name is at ur fingertips. I will be returning.

I did not like that I had to pay more $150 when I got there because their employees said I booked three a third party. I did not like they charged me $27.75 per day to park my car there . The room itself was clean and adequate. The bathroom was horrible it definitely needed upgrades. The grounds were clean and they did offer amenities which were great.

I believe that the cancellation policy is unfair. It was not made clear when I booked that there was no refund or waiver possibility, regardless of the circumstances. I believe they acted as a bad actor, providing misleading information and failing to be upfront. I will never visit again. I spoke with two different agents who were unhelpful, failed to take any initiative to assist me, and provided contradictory information on what needed to be done.

We liked our location, so close to places we needed. The breakfast was adequate, the room was clean and the kitchen was a plus.
