Pros:

We had to bring my adult son with disabilities along at last minute. I couldn't fix reservation with booking, but I called the hotel directly and they accommodated us without hassle. I appreciated their flexibility and willingness to help.

Nothing room was cancelled before we arrived after being in contact with hotel

Cons:

Lack of communication. There was a problem with the name on the credit card and I spoke with staff and assured them we have other means to cover the room. Was told we can take care of it upon arrival. 30 minutes before we arrived I received an email that the room had been cancelled since we didn't make contact with them. I called the hotel and was told reservation was cancelled and they were now fully booked. So we had to scramble to find a different room.
