Easy walking distance to nearby restaurants. I also really enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi.

I really liked the location, as it was close to restaurants & shopping, but far enough off of the main strip to enjoy some peace.

Well, my stay started wrong which made it difficult to enjoy ANYTHING which followed., at check-in I was made to go back to my car and retrieve ID's from everyone with whom I was sharing my room. I was told by staff that this was done with all guest from Tennessee, also citing "we have more problems with locals, but my wife noted that the other 2 sets of people, at the registration desk with me, were also driving cars with Tennessee tags (we all parked at the front door of Baymont by Wyndham Clarksville | 1112 Highway 76, Clarksville, TN 37043-2418 to check-in), and the only apparent difference between us was ethnicity. This made us feel like UNWANTED GUEST for the balance of our stay. Even though our skin was a different color than the other 2 sets of guest, who by the way were not made to present ID's for everyone in their party, not even asked, OUR MONEY WAS JUST AS GREEN, OR IN THIS CASE, OUR CREDIT CARD WAS JUST AS REAL & I WAS USING AMERICAN EXPRESS!

Good for a quick stop over and bed but do t stay more then a couple hours, not great breakfast selection either

Close to the highway for easy access, bed was comfortable

Cons:

Rooms need a face lift, the tub had peeling/ rough spots throughout the tub where you stand, a lot of outside noise came into the room, the sheets were clean but had stains, however, the smoking/ vaping policy is large part of why we won’t be back. I am all for non smoking rooms and spaces but no smoking in the parking lot when there are only 2 “smoking oasis” on the property that are both on the same end of the building and our rooms are on the opposite side of the property is let’s be honest, bullshit. When it’s 25-35 degrees outside, I don’t want to leave my room, walk around the outside of the entire building to smoke for 2 minutes in the cold. It takes longer to walk and find the oasis, not very good signage/ directions, then it does to hit my vape and go back into a warm area.
