Good value for an excellent location.
Pros:

Comfortable beds, awesome view and a great location. A short walk to skytrain station and right across the street from the Queen Elizabeth Theatre where we had tickets. Two great restaurants/bars in the hotel and others close by gave us many options for places to eat.

Pros:

The room was very nice, clean and modern. The shower was lovely, and the bed was very comfortable.

Cons:

We were in the room right next to the elevators and heard them roaring all night long. This will be something I will confirm when checking-in in the future.
As we approached the hotel from the southeast, walking northwest, the address signs dropped from 180 to 160, so we turned around thinking we had missed the entrance. We walked down to Beatty and back around to the parking area to enter. I feel there should be an overhead sign for the sidewalk at the corner of cambie and georgia.

Best location for concerts!
Pros:

Amazing location for the price! Just a block away from both BC place and Rogers Arena, so perfect for concerts and sports events! Newly renovated lobby, and tons of food options around.

Cons:

Rooms are a bit small and uncomfy but not bad for the price.

Good hotel, average service
Pros:

Great location, nice to have access to moxies and the sports bar directly from the hotel.. Nice size clean rooms and friendly staff

Cons:

I left one of my heated gloves in the hotel room, and it’s been literally impossible to contact them.. there doesn’t appear to be a way to get through to the actual hotel, you just get central reservations, if they try and transfer you it goes straight to voice mail.. They were $200 gloves which I’d just got so that was very disappointing.. Other issue is the elevators, The line up was that long I just took the stairs..

The location is amazing, and the rooms are nice with comfortable beds.

I love the location of the hotel and the ease of getting around. The rooms are always comfortable and mostly quiet. The amenities are great as well.

Cons:

The pool area. Both nights we stayed we went down to the pool between 7-8pm. There were no towels available, and someone had even called up to the front desk to let them know and after an hour, still no one came down to bring towels. The change rooms were also in pretty bad shape with wet towels on the floor, and paper towel on the floor beside and in front of the sink.
The elevators were also hit and miss. Sometimes they'd skip floors, and there was always huge line ups in the morning and at night.

Nice Hotel
Pros:

Stayed at new Sandman Hotel. Room was nice, renovated and big, very good for us. We had very good time at Moxies, our server was perfect.
But we little bit worried about hallway. We stay on 3rd floor and it was very dirty. Many trash in hallway, food on floor, and big garbage bags near lift. We stay 2 days and nobody clean it. That was not good.
