Nice staff, reasonable value, close to freeway & downtown; however, very dated room and no fitness
Pros:

1. Breakfast: good variety. I liked juice, toast, eggs, yoghurt. Wish there was a granola like cereal. The staff lady was constantly busy keeping stock and cleaning tables. I could not tell, of course, what the meat in the taco filling and the sausage was; would have liked to know. Great choice of breads for toasting; two different waffle makers. All-in-all, good value.

3. Ice machine near our room; there was an adequate pool which looked clear and clean, though we didn't use it.
4. Ample towels.
5. Noise: excellent shielding, since motel is right next major freeway.
6. Excellent light-blocking curtains.
7. Exterior of the motel looked pretty modern, but interior did not.

Cons:

1. We were told on the phone that there'd be a fitness center which was an important determinant. There was none, of course.
2. The room was very dreary: grey wall and white pop-corn ceilings. Very dated; would have liked the sink walled off from rest of room.
3. Too few lights. Only one light for both beds.
4. Pillows not comfortable.
5. Fridge did not get particularly cold; glad there was an ice machine near by.
6. NO SAFETY HANDRAIL to hold in the shower; that surprised me. While the floor of the shower is rubberized and feels pretty secure, there was nothing to hold onto to get in and out and nothing to hold on-to when raising one foot off floor to wash feet. Felt very insecure at times!

Overall condition poor. Crumbling concrete paths, floor ice maker broken. Light switches didn’t work.

Due to the dirtiness I couldn't not enjoy none of it.

Cons:

It was the worst pace I've ever stayed in. I've stayed in cheap places but nothing as dirty as this place. Don't let them fool you with the Newly Renovated Rooms. It was bad.
