Alright so this place is bad… like if Oscar the grouch looked at this place he would say “this dumpster fire is brought to you by the letter T for terrible!!”
Family member said they tried the free continental breakfast and the staff told them “the cereal is for kids” like what?!? The slumlords saw one “trix is for kids” commercial and took that to heart!!
Please do NOT stay here like ever!! You’ve been warned!!
This place was the WORST! The first room was FILTHY! Dirty walls and floors, black mold on the bathroom ceiling and bath mat as well as stained bedding. They moved us to a slightly less filthy room where the walls and floors were dirty, the smoke alarm looked like it had been burned and there were ROACHES! They offered to move us but that room was just as bad and had dead roaches inside the microwave. The staff was nice and agreed that the hotel is in dire need of cleaning, repairs and updates but were unable to do anything because the owners do not provide proper cleaning supplies and fail to maintain the property or do needed repairs and updates. The breakfast was basic hotel fare but the waffle maker did not work and the coffee was not hot. Overall if I could give this place a less than ZERO rating I would!
Free parking is nice, but the room, especially the bathroom needs a lot of work done, baseboard falling off the wall, floor has big gaps, needs replaced, shower needs cleaned
Overall price is cheap but rooms need to be cleaner and fridges in all rooms and working hair dryers.
The check-in process was a nightmare, and within 15 minutes of arriving at the room, I received a refund and left. The smell of Marijuana was so potent, I could barely breathe. The room had years of neglect and grime build-up. It was so disgusting that it was not good for my health.
Wish I'd have taken pics. Mold smell and covered ceiling and curtains which were torn. Sheets stained. I was afraid to walk on carpet.
The building is in terrible shape. Paint peeling from the ceiling and walls. Filth abounds. The bathtub coating was decayed, the porcelain was apparently painted to cover wear. There was a panhandler in the room next to me and she repeatedly asked me for spare change. The first room I had had some sort of liquid in front of the toilet so I asked for a new room and got one. The second room was just as bad sans bathroom liquids. As I write this, I am looking at a picture of a room posted by La Quinta that is far from accurate. Finally, do not blame the staff, they are doing the best they can under the circumstances.
This location is a disgrace to the LaQuinta Brand. We booked two rooms. One of those rooms was completely unusable and had to be changed. Both of the rooms we ended up with were filthy and falling apart. Carpet was torn and coming up. Mold in and around the tubs. Towel bar and toilet paper holders were broken. One room had smoke detector removed and hanging the other one it was missing completely. One of the rooms had clearly been smoked in and was very musty. One of the beds with matress partially sitting on the floor. Face of nightstand was detached and left along side. If we weren't so tired from traveling we would have found another hotel. This place is disgusting.
Location was the only positive, rooms where less than ok. Very loud cigarette smells were terrible. Smokers and non should be separated
The room was terrible, dirty, had holes in areas, needed painting, carpet was old. The continental breakfast was typical. I don't know if I will ever stay at a La Quinta again!!!
Check in was slow, front desk took alot longer than normal to check in. Both rooms smelled weird, were run down and dirty. The day we got there we saw trash on the strps to our room. It was still there when we left the next day. By far the worst LA Quinta we have ever stayed at.
It smelled really bad, didnt get to try anything else. Staff was really nice.
😍
It was clean It had no smell and I like they had made everything easy for us to check in.And it gave us the option to check out at 12 noon
The property is still the same from prior Hurricane Katrina. The staff was amazing However the room was terrible. The room had a bad odor, the bed had stains, the bathroom had rust and cigarette stains from smokers prior. There was no extra linen for the staff to give out as well. Poor management is too blame.
room was clean, food was amazing and overall a great experience
Charged me to upgrade with a refrigerator and microwave...but they never brought them up to the room
This place is for transit individuals who have made a lot of poor life choices. The room smelled like mold & mildew, carpet was disgustingly dirty, walls filthy, furniture has seen better days & tub water wouldn’t turn off. The property knew these issues because someone had to change the bedding, the only thing clean in the room. I got about 2hrs of sleep, didn’t check in till 1am & checked out within hours of checking in. I have picture proof too.
Front desk is terrible
Room looked run down, sheets on both beds dirty, roaches, bathroom tub leaked. No wash rags, when I went to the front desk to ask for some they told me they didn’t have any more. Had an iron board but no iron. If I didn’t pre pay I would have went to another hotel. Looks
Nothing like the pictures, exact opposite.
