EXHAUSTED. COLD. AND TIRED

NOT A DAM THING!!

I was delayed 6 hrs due to weather conditions and I had to rearrange my check in time to be able to check in immediately upon arrival. Prior to booking the room thru Booking.com I called the property and spoke with a woman in reservations inquiring about the deposit. She told me there will be a $75 deposit for incidentals. Upon check in I was charged a $100 deposit as well as an additional $50 to check in. I checked into a DIRTY, FREEZING room with no heat, Heater was broke, coffee maker was broke, the cords and cables to the TV were unplugged and not hooked up properly, as well as there being no phone in the room. I brought it to the properties attention and was told they would have maintenance on it. I left the property for the day well into the night. When I returned to my room after midnight, nothing was taken care of. I went to the office and requested to be moved into a room with a working heater, coffeemaker and TV. They switched rooms without issue. The room I was switched to was clean, warm and comfortable with a working heater, coffeemaker and TV. Only issue was the remote to tht TV was missing the cover. HOW DO I GO ABOUT REQUESTING A REFUND FOR THE $50 AS WELL AS THE ENTIRE TRIP?? I WAS IN TOWN TO BURY MY SISTER AND ATTEND HER MEMORIAL SERVICE SO NATURALLY I WAS ALREADY EMOTIONALLY EXHAUSTED FROM GRIEF, PHYSICALLY EXHAUSTED FROM BEING STUCK ON A BUS AN ADDITIONAL 6 HOURS. BY THE TIME I ARRIVED ALL I WANTED TO DO WAS TAKE A HOT SHOWER AND TURN INTO BED. I INSTEAD, HAD TO LEAVE THE ROOM BECAUSE IT WAS TOO COLD IN THERE TO COMFORTABLY SHOWER AND TRY TO SLEEP, OR DOZE OFF TO SOME TELEVISION. EVEN JUST BE IN THERE PERIOD.. SO PAYING A $50 CHECK IN FEE FOR A DIRTY, FREEZING ROOM WITH NO TV OR COFFEE MAKER TO MAYBE WARM UP WITH A CUP OF JOE IS ABSOLUTELY OBSERD!!!!

First of all, there were no towels in the room, the fire alarm was detached from the wall, and the floors were not clean. Definitely not a good place! Very disappointed.

So incredibly terrible! No pool, no breakfast. No one at the front desk. Ants in our room. Dirty. "Crumbs" in the bed. Falling apart.

Pros:

The rooms were not clean and the facility was in bad shape. Smoke detectors were even pulled from the ceiling and walls around the staircase. The pool was going through a renovation but man....looked really bad. I wasn't met with someone live rather by video with someone that I am pretty sure was not in the US which made this even more impersonal. In fact...I saw the room, looked at the property and booked a room elsewhere to stay that night it was so bad. Did not mind losing money staying at a different hotel.

Pros:

Horrible experience first off they tried to be upscale or very tech with having a check in person via tablet .
They just being there we hear about 4 people having bag experiences.
We finally get into our room and we are getting ready for bed and shower from our 8 hour trip to only come time out we have no towels!!! Only small face towels and slighting bigger but no actually yowl they said we were only allowed to one towel for a two queen bed for 4 people please someone explain how that works. Motel 6 would probably be better

You get less than what you pay for
Pros:

Bathroom, refrigerator and microwave was clean. The refrigerator was a nice size for a motel room. Linens were clean as well.

Cons:

The floor was not swept well and was sticky near the desk. There is very little space for our clothes- only 5 ancient hangers and no dresser. They do not accommodate people who stay more than one night. Coffee pods were not replaced each day. There was no blanket on one bed, they delivered a stained blanket on day 2. It took 2 days to get a second chair (room was booked for 2 people). But the most surprising part was finding an urn with human cremains in a pile of discarded items in the breezeway between rooms.
