Disappointed in La Quinta and booking.com
Pros:

Staff was very kind and polite.

Cons:

Pool was shut down due to resurfacing, which was inconvenient as it was very hot. Due to my husband's physical therapy needs we only stayed 1 night and went to a place with a pool so he could due his water therapy. The pool closure should have been disclosed at the time we checked in.
I asked for a refund and the manager said yes but it would need to come from booking.com since I booked my reservation with them.
I contacted booking.com and they charged me $110.00 to proceed with the refund after stating 3 out of the 4 nights would be refunded.
I only got $59.00 back so we lost money all around.

The staff stole our luggage from our room and moved us to a urine soaked room. We left immediately.

Our room was moved the day after we showed up. We were at a business event at the time and we returned to all our belongings missing. We had unpacked everything and had them in there appropriate places and they went through our stuff, touched our underwear, threw away our personal bathroom items and tossed everything on the floor in a closet in another building. We panicked as NO ONE informed us of the move!!! After we found our luggage and attempted to go to the new room we discovered that it smelled ransid with urine! It was discusting and they caused my wife massive emotional trauma. I need a full refund of the entire stay.

Pros:

The shower sucks, it kept blowing out hot water. It was not blowing out cold water whatsoever. They closed the gates around 1 AM and I could not figure out where to enter. I also am not sure why the incidental fee was charged on my account and still has. not been credited back

Awful!!! Disgusting rooms, trashy staff, and all around terrible experience

Location related to place I was going

Cons:

Left for not even an hour to get food when we came back the room was completely flooded so they moved us next door and the water came through the walls again. They moved us upstairs next and then nothing worked in that room. Several lights were out the tv didn’t work the ac didn’t blow cold and the room itself was filthy. The “breakfast” was just plain white toast in cling wrap, or stale cereal, or waffles with no syrup or butter or anything. Worst hotel we’ve ever been to! Staff was also very rude and acted like the flooding was our faults when we hadn’t even used anything in the room. Just set suitcases down and walked out. They also tried to not move us or do anything about the inch deep of water all over our entire floor.
