My needs were met. The price matches the services provide.
Pros:

Bed was comfortable, room was big and spacious. Was pretty clean.

Cons:

Bathtub drain was clogged. Access from Oltorf Street is gated and closed. Uber driver couldn't enter property, so he had to go back to expressway and make a turnaround to get on frontage to access main entrance to La Quinta. Lost some time (10 minutes) to where I was going due to Uber driver challenge accessing the property. May want to consider opening a gate on Oltorf for vehicular access.

Overall, I had a great stay with friendly staff, a convenient location, and great amenities- despite the overnight fire
Pros:

I really liked that the property is gated and has overnight security. It’s also conveniently located near downtown and just south of a movie theater. There’s a Chipotle and a Whataburger right across the street, along with several other great food spots nearby!
Over the weekend, I used the bus to get around, and luckily the 300, 803, and 3 bus lines all stop right across the street.
The breakfast was delicious—they offer a great selection of food and beverages. The staff is also really friendly and helpful. Shoutout to Debra for taking such good care of us!

Cons:

I really liked the hotel, but the only downside was the fire alarm going off every two hours overnight. ): It first went off at 2:38 a.m. on Sunday, then again around 4 a.m., and finally at 6 a.m. I had a hard time falling back asleep after the first alarm.
Other than that, it was still a great stay!
