Horrendous. I will never stay at Clarion again. My photos are on my phone. I will send them to you.
Pros:

The beds were comfortable. Although the carpet smelled, the room seemed to be clean. My sister and I did not take advantage of the free breakfast, because we had to walk outside and walk a long, dark, and dirty hallway outside to the front of the building to get breakfast, so we ate elsewhere.

Cons:

The dull gray appearance of the building. We stayed at the Clarion in Huntsville, Alabama. On Booking.com, it was painted white with orange and brown trim. We did not like the dirty, smelly hallways and elevator. We did not like having to walk outside and around the building to go to the lobby for breakfast. Also you had to go through a dark hallway to go around the building (outside) to go to the lobby to eat breakfast. Plus with the hallways and elevators dirty and smelly, I did not trust the condition of the kitchen where the food had been prepared. Also I could not relax and sleep due to the condition of the room and building in general. We were going to leave Friday night, but it was Alumni Weekend for a university, and rooms with double beds were not available. The night before we left, I called the desk to confirm the check-out time. The clerk confirmed that it would be 11:00 check-out time the next day (Monday). But when my sister went outside to start packing the car and came back at 10:45 AM, she discovered that her room card had been deactivated, so she could not get in w/o me letting her in. All in all, it was not a pleasant experience, and we had a horrendous experience. So when we went to Birmingham, we made sure to avoid Clarion and stayed at Drury for a fantastic stay. It was clean and neat, our room was on the inside and we did not have to go outside, and I could relax and sleep well, and our card was not deactivated before we checked out.

It was good for the most part but not the best area
Pros:

The beds were cozy!

Cons:

It felt a little dated and there was actually a small experience we had with someone banging on our door multiple times at 2am. Which was sort of terrifying.

Great staff, but dirty place overall.
Pros:

The breakfast was decent, very basic waffles and eggs. The staff was great though. Very friendly and welcoming.

Cons:

The rooms were crowded with furniture. They were also outdated and dirty still. There was coffee stains on the wall from the previous visitors. The outside of the doors needed work, ours had damage on it like a dent.
