Property was clean. Lobby was very nice.
In our room, was plugged into a lamp that was on the table and had all the wires stretched to the entertainment center. Mini fridge sounded like it was on its final run and makes a lot of noise at night. Ceiling lamp was almost falling off and light kept flickering. Toilet was horrible. Complained to front desk that the holding tank wasn’t filling after a flush. They said that it takes a while to fill up. Couldn’t really use the toilet. The pull out bed was a disaster. Mattress pad was so flat and the sheets for it didn’t even fit. There was not quite time. Around 11pm there was someone bouncing around and kicking a ball in the lobby that can be heard from the second floor and people yelling and shouting. Way over priced for a stay in an outdated hotel.
Pool
The staff was very rude at check in. Room was not ready until exactly 4pm. Pool was closed for multiple weeks and when I asked why because my daughter was with me they immediately got defensive and told me I should have checked the hotel website before arrival. However we booked through booking.com so why would I check the hotel website? Unprofessional to be rude to a polite family.
They didn't pay me back my deposit, they never returned my money.
This was the second month in a row, my family and I stayed at Embassy Suites By Hilton Boston Waltham. We had my Dad's Funeral in Nov and Mom's in Dec and flew in from SC, FL, and AR. I'm from Waltham but have not lived there in four decades, and this hotel and location made for easy logistics for all services, etc. Beyond that, the staff was extremely helpful both in reservations and when we arrived. We appreciated the ability to dine on location and the restaurant space proved convenient and high quality. We would and will stay there again, when we return for family events. Very respectfully, chuck dunne
Room had alounge. Comfortable beds. Chef to cook omelets. Breakfast offering for eggs, meats, breads, Beverages were great.
I was a solo business traveler looking for a hotel near the freeway that also had a bar and restaurant for coming back late into the evening - a gym and pool are always a bonus and this hotel delivered in all categories including plenty of parking and a solid breakfast where the omelettes were made to order. The suite I had was excellent - 2 big rooms - very comfortable, and clean for a 12 night stay incl a microwave and fridge. Mornings were free so the gym and pool were really fantastic. The bar was also very welcome and friendly after a long day, and the bar food was good - burger was better than average and the pasta maybe a bit below but a cold pint or glass of wine was always on point. I enjoyed my time there and wouldn't hesitate to go back.
Very nice experience. Family friendly hotel with staff that were very pleasant and looked happy to be there.
Clean spacious room. Bed was very comfortable . We all enjoyed the pool area, only thing about the pool, there were no clean towels so, we had to use the ones from our room.
The breakfast was probably the best one we've ever gotten included. Loved the omelets made to order. We're already thinking of going to Boston and staying there so we can stay out later.
I like everything
The ece was not good enough the room was cold for me
The space was big, the bed was great, clean, and it was pretty quiet in the hallways before entering the room. Pool was really nice did not use it but went to see it and it looked clean with enough space to enjoy.
The noise in the room for the AC was above and beyond had to close the room door. It was so disturbing and the smell in that particular room was very moldy like, Place was great and bed was comfortable but the smell and noise was what messed up my stay.
The location was convenient
The TV remote was out of battery,
The lamp on the desk had no bulb, and was also not plugged in.
The bed pillows were very lumpy and old.
The WiFi was a paid extra. And so was parking.. despite this being a hotel that is in the center of several highways… and thus not reachable without a car.
Breakfast. Hot shower with excellent water pressure. Comfortable beds. Location to the local train station for Boston center.
Dirty bedding and trash was left in the corridors. Only decaf coffee for the coffee maker and no toilet paper when we arrived.
Loved that you could get eggs any way you wanted them. Nice choices for breakfast.
