the ridiculous 20 questions at check-in. they asked everything apart from inside leg measurement before giving us the keys. we’d stayed there before without having to go through hoops. honestly if they don’t want the likes of me staying there then they should say so. I guess they did state that with the 30 questions…

The room was spacious and excellent throughout. The bathroom and complimentary accessories (including the toothbrush and toiletries) were particularly impressive, and the shower facilities were outstanding.
The spa pool, steam room and sauna were also excellent and added greatly to the overall experience. The location was ideal. Jeff the receptionist was particularly good at helping arrange the master suite.
Breakfast was understandably very busy; however, the quality of the food was superb and the staff remained attentive, professional and welcoming despite the high volume of guests.
The Quilon restaurant was also exceptional and provided a fantastic dining experience.
One small improvement would have been the addition of a luggage stand in the room for suitcases.
Unfortunately, the experience at the House of Ming restaurant was somewhat disappointing. At times we were made to feel like an inconvenience, not all items ordered were brought to the table, and there was very little follow-up or checking in during the meal. As a result, the mandatory service charge felt slightly disappointing in that context.
That said, aside from this isolated experience, this was genuinely the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The overall standard, service and atmosphere were exceptional, and I can fully understand why many of my business partners choose to stay here.

Good location, complimentary spa area, sauna, steam pool, free drinks and fruit. The smell of the hotel, on entry we were greeted with these's natural soft aromatic smells, and a very polished reception area, this includes the staff,
......immaculate appearance.
I personally have no negative words regarding my experience.

O gerente plantonista na nossa chegada, indelicado (sem ser rude, entretanto) mesmo sendo nossa segunda remorado no hotel. o restante do pessoal excelente, em particular, Sras. Prativa - manager -, e Rajani, bem como todos os recepcionistas (inclusive os do cave da manha, garçons etc., porteiros, gerentes (à exceção do ja mencionado), todos.
Ao fazermos o check out, havíamos esquecido no quarto uma sacola profira de equipamento médico essencial para o sono, contendo o próprio equipamento médico e uns oculos de sol da marca Rayban. O hotel falhou em não detectar e nos alertar do acontecido. Já em Liverpool, aonde seguimos viagem, fizemos contato com o hotel, falamos sobre os riscos à saúde e até à vida, pedimos alguma providência para que fizessem o aludido equipamento chegasse até nós, e nada foi feito por parte do hotel. Isso foi por nós considerado dupla falha lamentável (a não detecção do esquecimento durante a inspeção pós checkout à acomodação, bem como o descaso após ter sido feita a notificação do ocorrido à empresa) por parte da empresa, capaz de manchar a boa imagem que dela tínhamos.

The location was excellent for walking to many things we wanted to do. The staff was so helpful and friendly every time we asked anything. We absolutely love the fresh flowers daily in the lobby. Incredible. We highly recommend!
Spa could have had longer hours
Fabulous hotel - room was excellent and exactly what you want when staying away from home.
The staff were brilliant and the whole stay was improved by the available hotel facilities, the on-site restaurants [aside from Quilon] and the location was perfect for our stay.
Only complaint was the very disappointing effort to find us a table in Quilon. It wasn't busy but the manager was far too interested in telling us how long it might take to get a table ready rather than getting us seated. The contrast with the approach elsewhere, including The House of Ming the evening before, was telling - forget the star and think about the customers.
