Perfect city break
Pros:

A fabulous friendly welcome, all staff were friendly, polite and helpful. The hotel was in a good position, an absolutely beautiful property, clean, immaculately kept, breakfast was delicious and the spa lovely and relaxing. Thank you to everyone involved in making our stay one to remember, it was for a special birthday and our stay was made extra special :-)

Great location, great hotel and facilities…
Pillows were brilliant, best pillows in all London hotels and I’ve stayed in hundreds!!!

Cons:

Rooms are small and a bit dated for what you pay. If the room next door turned the heating on it was like a boiler rattling in your room. Old hotel and pipes so nothing they can do but when someone turns the shower on at 5am and the pipes in your wall start rattling, it was hard to get back to sleep.

un bon séjour mais avec beaucoup de travaux dans l'hôtel et dans la rue

Cons:

travaux dans l'hotel , pas d'espace pour se réunir à cause des travaux , pour les réunions professionnels très peu d'espace et pas de solution proposée, pas de bar dans l'hotel

L'hôtel m'a chargé deux fois le prix de la chambre (soit plus de 1'600 pounds!), argent qui a été déduit de mon compte et ma carte a été refusée dans un resto à cause de cela... Je suis passé à la réception le samedi soir pour prévenir... Rien n'a été fait sur le moment, on me dit que cela sera régler durant mon check out (j'ai eu l'impression de ne pas être prise au sérieux)
Arrivée au check out, je dois expliquer à nouveau mon problème (! l'info n'a pas été transmise). Encore une fois je dois attendre... j'ai appelé ma banque pour confirmer et finalement, le staff me dit qu'effectivement la chambre a été chargée deux fois !!! Comment expliquer une erreur pareil ?!
Cela engendrer du stress et relativement entaché le week-end en amoureux que j'avais prévu... heureusement qu'on était deux et que mon partenaire a pu assurer la fin du voyage sur sa carte... Je suis déçue de la communication pour un hôtel de ce genre... Aucun geste commercial pour cette erreur, même pas une consommation offerte alors que cette erreur a eu un impact sur tout notre séjour.
Je suis déçue car c'est la première fois que je réserve un hôtel "aussi luxe" pour les 40 ans de mon partenaire, et bien c'est sur que nous n'allons pas refaire l'expérience

Lovely hotel with a warm friendly atmosphere.

Cons:

The hydrotherapy pool was a bit cold
The room upgrade did not quite look like the photo when I was offered the upgrade. The photo looked more fancy then what the room was. (colourful cushions on bed).
I did query this on checkout and was told it had a king bed.
It was lovely but just did not meet my expectations when I walked in to the room.

Pros:

The hotel was beautiful. We were greeted by friendly, helpful staff.
The hotel is in a great location ten minutes walk to Hyde Park and Horse Guards.
Our suite was luxurious and the bed was so comfortable.
Breakfast was excellent, which was was waited or self service. English or Indian food was available, with fresh fruit and pastries.
There is a lovely seating area in the courtyard garden.
A pool and spa is also at this hotel
