Ok, venue suited us, but would be better if updated.
Pros:

Great location, handy to station, shops & restaurants. Reception staff were helpful and quickly remedied issue with door access code after 3 days when it failed. Asked if we could store luggage from 11am on day of arrival, but were able to access our room early which was great.

Cons:

Very dated, needs a renovation. Kitchen surfaces looked dirty, but I bought cleaning product and cloths and the bench surfaces were clean, just didn’t look at it, probably due to the colour. Didn’t use oven or stove top as they looked dirty & greasy as did the splash back. Stayed for 8 nights and room was not surfaced, but the website does say it would be cleaned after 7 days, I think for an 8 day stay as service after 4 or 5 days would be much better.

Air con was inconsistent overnight. Inadequate toilet paper supplied (one roll and part of the roll holder was missing), no soap for the shower.

Great location and very generous rooms. Comfortable beds.

Cons:

The apartment was dirty. Every glass in the cupboards had dried juice in them. A couple of plates had dried food on them. The carpet was gritty. The bathrooms had a lot of mould. The kitchen door had thick dust on the back. The ironing board was rusty and broken. No phones worked so we had to go downstairs to ask for towels. There was even rubbish under the beds. We paid $951 for 2 nights so it wasn't that cheap that would warrant such poor hygiene.

Good location, easy to access, close to the shops & train station, comfy beds. Room could do with a bit of a revamp.

Cons:

When we arrived into our room, the pull-out sofa bed was not made. One of the girls went and spoke to reception, to which she was questioned about if we had even paid for the 5th Adult. I had only been emailing about it, a week before.

Good location, not worth the cost. Facilities do not align with advertisement.
Pros:

Great location, short walk to Westfield. Plenty of food options/ grocery stores close by.

Cons:

Check in & car park process was painful, 3 transactions on the day for extras that are not made clear during the booking process.

Booked this accommodation purely for a getaway for young kids, happy to pay the price for the facilities described and shown in the advertisements/booking process (pool) because this is the whole purpose. Arrive, get ready for swimming, excited 3 year old….. get to the level and area is closed due to construction - nothing said during the booking process, nothing said during reception check in? Explain to a 3 year old you can’t do exactly what you’ve been hyping them up for weeks about…. Very disappointing.

Head to the bath for a “alternative swimming fun”. Have to clean a bunch of hair out of the bath before using to then realise - nope can’t do that either, the plug doesn’t fit.

Communication needs to be better and so does the cleaning.

Absolute filthy stay and ruined our weekend for my daughter’s wedding.
Pros:

The room was filthy, dirty showers mould and hair in showers, stained and wet carpet in the main living areas, dirty kitchen floors, oven had no racks when we tried to use the oven and it was filthy, the entire apartment smelled terrible. We weren’t provided linen for the sofa bed for our children, we waited for linen until 9pm the day of arrival, four phone call requests it still wasn’t provided and then there were no staff on site, a operator from the phone line ended up providing me access to another available hotel room in the building and we had to go and take linen off that bed, there were only four towels provided for six guests, the apartment has only five glasses for six guests, only one wine glass in the apartment. The children were excited for a swim in the hotel pool after our long drive interstate only to find out that the pool was under renovation so was not accessible - none of which was advised to us prior to the booking.
I have lodged a formal complaint and want a full refund. This was an absolute joke staying with the Sebel Chatswood.

Pros:

The positives, the bed was just sooo comfortable, excellent pillows. Location being right in the heart of Chatswood a bonus.

Cons:

Staff gave nothing, no advice on hotel facilities local shops of places to eat. Room, there was bloodinyhe wall, a stain on onof the beds. We asked for 1king and 1 queen, got queen and 2 singles. Tea, there was only 2 green and 2 earl grey, no black tea.
