Not worth it but good for business travelers
Pros:

I liked the location and the staff were exceptional.

Cons:

It was sooooo expensive and zero amenities except room service. I was so irritated. The Double Tree is nicer, same services, but at least has a big TV a fridge and microwave, and coffee maker.

Great location and friendly staff with some antiquated features that prevented a five star stay.
Pros:

Staff was very friendly and accomodating. Location is great. The top floor was very cool. Room service brought me a beer for a reasonable price.

Cons:

One of our towels had a rip in the center with a black X, like it was meant to be thrown away. The TV kept having a glitch where a popup would appear that forced a restart. No refrigerator or coffee maker. No couch.

Always a treat to stay at the Northern
Pros:

I have stayed at this property many, many times over the years, and have only good memories. I love a good downtown hotel and this is certainly one of them.

Cons:

Well, I never did understand whether the air conditioning worked in our room, even though I asked the maintenance guy about it when he was there helping us turn our TV on. The fan didn’t seem to work at all so he brought in a box fan to help circulate air. Really not acceptable for a quality hotel like the Northern.

It was a good stay and my wife and I enjoyed our stay there.
Pros:

The breakfast was surprisingly good.

The entrance to the hotel and finding the entrance from the parking garage.

Very nice hotel.
Pros:

The restaurant breakfast had large portions for the price.

Cons:

The thermostat was broke in the first room we were in , but they gave us an upgrade for having to move during the stay.
