I have no hesitation recommending this hotel.
Pros:

Very helpful staff. Good range of breakfast and eating options. Beautiful garden. Ready availability of waiting taxis at entrance.
Excellent teppanyaki restaurant in tranquil garden setting.

Cons:

None. New Otani Club lounge is rather spartan though with only a coffee machine. No other refreshments.

Pros:

Breakfast services were nice, and the variety of restaurants was great. Rooms we nice. I liked walking in the garden.

Cons:

The hotelsia bit of a maze and it can be hard to find places at first. It is surprisingly ahrd ot find an entrance ot the garden.

Pros:

Das Hotel ist sehr gut gelegen und hat mehrere Anschlüsse an Bussen oder Metro jedoch mit einer Mindestzeit von ca.: 10 Minuten zu Fuss. Das Zimmer war sehr gross und das Masterbett war das grösste Bett das wir je hatten in Japan ! Besonders der Garten des Hotels ist einzigartig wäre aber auch ohne Hotelübernachtung zugänglich gewesen. Die Rezeption war immer sehr hilfreich bei Fragen und selten überfüllt. Das gesamte Interieur hat uns sehr gut gefallen - wir haben allerdings auch auf das Frühstück (sollte gemäss aussagen und unseren Beobachtungen immer mit Wartezeiten verbunden sein.

Cons:

Wir waren einmal oben an der Skylounge - leider schliesst die Bar bereits um 08:30 Uhr und es gibt nur einen Counter der ca.: 10m von der Aussicht/Fenster entfernt ist. Die Preise sind sehr hoch für das was man erhält. Da es besonders in der Skylounge ein Buffett gibt haben wir dann darauf verzichtet aufgrund der Preise und der Aussicht dann weit weg von dem Fenster zu sitzen. Aber das ist kein wesentliches Problem für die Bewertung des Hotels gewesen und über alles waren wir wirklich sehr zufrieden.

A maze of a complex
Pros:

Very helpful staff and even though the standard room was quite cramped, it was comfortable. This hotel seems to cater to big groups, and there was a lot of public space to accommodate them. The check in however took an hour from joining a fairly short queue to getting the key card. It’s not that close to the metro stops and you have to navigate a lot of corridors to get outside. Everywhere just seemed far.

Loved this hotel! Great place to stay in Tokyo!
Pros:

We had a view of the Fabulous garden, a nice big room, with a wonderful bath, a walk in closet. Excellent service, so many restaurants to choose from! Taxis waiting outside the door, it really could not have been better!

Nothing to dislike!
