Very disappointing check-in and check-out experience.

From the moment we arrived, we clearly explained that we needed to split the hotel payment between two different cards and receive separate receipts under each guest’s name for reimbursement purposes. We were assured this could be done at check-out. We even returned to the front desk the night before departure to arrange everything in advance, but were told to wait until the morning.

At check-out, exactly what we had tried to avoid happened: the full amount had already been charged to the card used only for the incidental hold, the payment could not be properly divided, we could not receive separate receipts, and we were even charged for parking despite repeatedly stating that we had no car.

We also received no clear documentation confirming the release/refund of the incidental hold. For international travelers, multiple charges and refunds are a serious inconvenience, as refunds to foreign cards can take weeks.

What made the situation worse was the condescending attitude we experienced both at check-in and check-out. As Hilton Honors members and international guests, we expected much better communication, organization, and treatment.
